Drugs warrants result in three arrests

- Three people have been arrested after three warrants were executed by police today (July 11).
At about 9am, officers stormed three properties in Higham Ferrers, Kettering and Bedford, following intelligence which suggested that the addresses were involved in the supply of Class A drugs.
During the warrants, 12 mobile phones were seized as well as Class A and B drugs, cash, and drug dealing paraphernalia.
Three men aged 58, 47 and 33 were also all arrested on suspicion of a conspiracy to Supply Class A drugs. They remain in police custody at this time.
Detective Sergeant Sarah Osborne said: “Tackling drug harm is a matter of priority for Northamptonshire Police and I’m pleased with the three arrests we have made today.
“I’d encourage anyone with any concerns about drug dealing in their area to contact us with their information. You can do this by calling us on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
“Although on the surface, it may seem like nothing is being done, behind the scenes we are building up a picture of intelligence in order to be able to secure warrants such as these ones.”
