@Neraz94 Being meele is a huge factor, and he is really quite level dependant for being a carry (So not that suitable for trilanes). Not that long ago he was being picked as a bottle mid for fireblast spam (Similar to Doom), but in these recent versions there are just way better heroes in the map pool, the most notably being morphling, weaver and doom.
@Devin1pm Spectre does need the health regen to keep up his farming. As a hard carry you want to stay at lane or jungle as long as possible. Plus at early game, all spectre gets are mostly spell dmg so the disperse still works fine.
@Devin1pm that's just it though, it's on playdota.. lol like 95% of those guides are made to help new players to pub games. :P Gameplay and item builds change dramatically when it comes to pro games and even just CM matches :P
@Devin1pm its not all about the disperse dmg, you cant just expect spectre to get 2 bracers and bounce all the dmg thrown at her. shes not tank or anything, shes pretty fragile so the block will be necessary. just my own opinion. and im also sure the pro players are aware of this situation.
Spectre is a brilliant hero to watch however it is a late carry. You have to keep it up until late game to start teamkilling. Otherwise you feed the other team.
@Luminous48 why is dragon knight never picked? i mean he got nice pushing abilities, aoe slow, a stun, great movementspeed and a lot of hp/armor. whats so bad about him?

lol dissing demon's shocking black holes. but that one black hole at 38:40 which got 3 fleeing heroes was the turning point in the game USA played almost pubstyle, really. heroes running around and turning back on 10% hp to get more kills. nothing went navi's way :(
@Devin1pm In Clan Wars, you'll be harrassing people more, not just letting people free-farm for 25 minutes then everyone goes to wreak havoc on one another, so they buy a ring of health for laning, Pro dota players don't like to sell items, so rather than sell the ring of health, they turn it into a vanguard, wouldn't make much sense to sell a ring of health after laning, to buy 2 bracers for extra health to tank with. and to my knowledge, the disperse damage is dealt pre-block.
It is just like XxGonix sayd. I don't know much about USA. But i'm prety sure that they are not all that bad ppl. Sory if i don't write correct. Anyway GJ USA it was an awesome game:P wanna see ur game in the freature to:P

Hi luminous and ppl, I see a lot of spectre players go for vanguard first. As I read some guide, it says 2 bracers and a power thread should be enough and need to rush for disfulsal blade and manta. Vanguard blocks damage but ou want to Disperse the damage, not to block it..Vanguard or 2 bracers pluz powerthread? I think vanguard is a waste on spectre.
I'm not American, I'm Canadian (we're better than Americans), but would you not say the middle east is much more of a prejudice, racism, and religious idiocy than everyone else? Their war is fueled by hate towards christianity and other small religions in that area. They prejudice against women. They believe in Islam.
