Hello!! It really helped me and it worked and the only thing that I'm having a problem with is whenever the empty data or say no data is there for name id and age and are inserted then the values previously stored are removed.

Fantastic tutorial but the code did not work for me. Is this compatible with the latest Firebase version or I have to use a specific older version? Getting the error "ReferenceError: Can't find variable: set"

Thanks for the video. I would like to add that if you are trying to insert more than one item to your firebase real time db then use push instead of set. when I was using set it would just replace the existing value, but using push added children.

Additionally, I am very new to html/JavaScript coding so this might sound like a silly question: With regards to security of your database, if this was publicly published what protection would you take to stop someone copying the JavaScript from the html file and maliciously connecting to your database?
