Thank you for reacting to this song. Though it may not be a favorite to all, it certainly has meaning to others. Asking someone to listen and react to a song is a sign of respect. The individual understands the same meaning may not be felt, however, to ask someone their thoughts on a song that does have meaning, is not a bad thing. Whether someone deems a song the best or worst on an album is irrelevant, as music listening is a subjective experience and impacts each individual differently based upon their life experiences. This album has very good production, and the subtle nuances in each composition speaks to the level of musicianship Katatonia has developed over the decades. They don't have to be a popular band to get recognized for what they do. And much like Rush, not everyone will like them; however, they too seek to put out the best quality music they can. Thank you for taking the time to put this video together, best song on the album or not.
Decima has to be one, if not, my favorite Katatonia song. It's not for everyone but for me it is so unique and meaningful that nothing compares. I love how each person have their own perspective on the same material. That's the beauty of art, it's a living thing that can change depending on the lenses you use to see it/interpret it with.
It never fails, the people that get through to reactors always pick the worst songs for reactions. It's like they have no awareness. Greatest band on earth, this is probably the 2nd to last song I would recommend on this album.
LOL... "It never fails, the people that [Do whatever the particular reactor requires to get their suggestion heard] always pick the worst songs for reactions" .......
I would recommend trying the song Forsaker to continue with Katatonia. Their album from 2020 was fantastic, and I'm SO excited for the new album coming out
Katatonia is hit and miss with me. They have some great songs but then they have a lot that just never seem to peak. Like im waiting for a really good chorus but it never gets there. I found them years ago after hearing a few songs from older albums from them. My Twin and July were the two. Both have excellent choruses that capture you. But they have so many songs that just kind of move sideways. But the singers voice is very calming so it’s not bad to listen to.

This was a paid donation request.... I get your point. But idk what you mean by 'get through to reactors', given its a paid request.

lol
It's my favorite chill song on this album! Sure it's not punchy but on its own merits it's a fantastic song.
@@GoalPost_er you could just say "the people that successfully suggest songs"

Nice atmosphere but it didn't really grab me either.
This isn’t a great choice for a first time listen imho. “Austerity” is a good choice or anything from their album; “A Great Cold Distance”.
Katatonia, my all time very favorite band. This song isn't on my playlist.
