I love that kitty took the time to show her how to be better. The show loves to paint Kitty as being mean and hard on the girls but they rarely show her giving constructive criticism
I hope in the future they they will get more footage on every girl so we can see their performances and celebrate their careers. I wish in Mia's journey that they would have showed more dance performances and her dancing more as the point. Mia has it. So talented!!!

I love that we finally get another video about a cheerleader of color. But it's pretty obvious that the earlier seasons mostly ignore the WOC. That's why we get shorter and fewer videos about them. The past can't be changed, but in the future, PLEASE give equal attention to the women of color -- they deserve it!
About time. If you watch all of season 4, there was more footage of Mia as a rookie and more when she was a veteran as well in seasons 5-8). This could have been better (more footage of Mia) but I'm glad they finally showed her. She was such a strong dancer and was wonderful as point of the triangle.

Mia went from getting called into the office to point of the triangle and even after that she was brought back as a mentor for future DCCs. That speaks volumes. Mia really broke down the door for black girls on this show. Mia crawled so Kat, Chandi, Armani, Jada, Sydeny, Ashlee, Briana could run. A true definition of started from the bottom now we're here.

This show has been on the air for a decade and a half. These girls grew up watching this show and they will relate to the DCCs who were on the show. That would be girls like Nicole Hamilton, Mia, Jackie Bob. They started the show. They are the OGs. Ashlee said Nicole Hamilton was a huge influence on her. I love Mia but I’ve always felt bad for her sister. She tried out 3 times and her younger sister gets on it her first try. Hopefully that didn’t cause any animosity between the sisters

I LOVE and appreciate Nicole, Jena and Mia but let's be real.. they arent pro black girls they are the black girls u would find in an all white sorority its like Kelli, Judy and the DCC organization go after certain types of black girls.. and most of the black girls who make the squad in general would not be seen at a black girl magic convention and before anyone starts I've been on their social media accounts most of the black girls who make the squad dont deal with black people much smh. Jackie, Jacie, Kat and Sydney are literally few of the actual pro black cheerleaders they've had they actually speak on wanting to be reps for black girls smh
