Love Mike Rowe and loved Paul Harvey too! My son's a welder; my daughter worked in a factory for 15 years and now works as a dispatcher at a towing company. My son went to a trade school for his certification. My daughter learned her new skills at home and on the job. Proud of them both for NOT choosing college - like their mother. LOL
What no one realizes is that there are so many jobs that rely on blue collar workers. Electricians, plumbers, carpenters, brick layers, etc. Not to mention people who work in grocery stores, gas stations, coffee shops, department stores, etc. Without these individuals, society comes to a standstill.
