I just want to have my cozy house, not worry about exceesiive bills, and live a worry free lifestyle. Cuz money might not be happiness, but it sure makes you sleep well at night.
So true, I totally agree. I buy only what I need, no frivolous purchases…it makes me sad that so many can barely afford basics, living paycheck to paycheck.😞
@@courtney1709 The early Christians pooled their resources and lived communally, each working whatever job they could and receiving what they needed for sustenance. Perhaps they were onto something.
There's still the fear of ending up burning in Purgatory for a time. On our deathbed, how many of us would know for sure that we have paid off our temporal punishment here on earth or that we have loved God with such a pure love so as to be taken directly to Heaven?
Not me. I'm okay with purgatory. I've earned it with my daily failings. But I trust in the mercy of Christ
Those in Purgatory prefer the pains of Purgatory to being on earth, knowing they will definitely arrive in Heaven. Many saints, including St Catherine of Siena, give us this truth for our comfort.
