I’ve got to say, I wasn’t sure before I watched this but I thought the accommodation options were varied and great. I’m looking forward to watching more of your vlogs from your trip.
That’s a good compromise, also, often , being at the back of the resort may make it a little quieter, for those that prefer to be set back away from the action. . . In this case I think it looked like the resort it may be a little more “tranquil” than some?
Toilets in Thailand aren't designed to cope with toilet paper because of the size pipes used. Nothing has changed in the 34 years I have been coming to Thailand. Having to unblock a toilet is a disgusting job that even a westerner would baulk at yet those who persist in flushing away paper don't stop and consider the person ( often a cleaning lady) who has to stick their arm into the S bend.

Depends on your taste, best tip is where do the locals go and which has a queue!

So many fab Air bnbs that look more updated than that hotel. What made you choose it?
Perfect location plus there was eight of us, not seem many air bnbs with 2 swimming pools either!

Yes it’s a great place to stay especially when there’s a gang of you.
What a lovely place. I actually prefer the cheaper room.

I stayed there just after Covid when it was very quiet. Would definitely stay again . So close to everything 😍

Did you fly in from Bangkok or straight to the local airport?
There are no direct flights to Koh Samui as the airport is to small for bigger planes to land!

We we’re pretty much critter free, you do get the odd little lizard but nothing scary.
