what an excellent vlog, easily one of the best I've seen (if not the best) when it comes to Wildwood! you capture everything perfectly: the ride down (which is an exciting part of the trip in itself! ) , the motels, the nostalgia, the boardwalk. good cinematography as well!
FYI...The Gold Nugget Mine ride ended up in a family owned amusement park in Pennsylvania called Knoebels. Ride was updated somewhat but many effects are still there. Thanks for bringing back some memories.

i spent many summers in Wildwood growing up, we had a house on 11th avenue that belonged to my grandparents it was a tiny cube white house, went there every summer with either them or my Mom.. sadly my mom and grandparents are no longer with us so it's been awhile since i've had the chance to visit wildwood.
The only pier we have here in Southern California with any kind of rides is Santa Monica. All the rest are mainly for fishing, with the exception of Redondo Beach, which mainly has shops and restaurants. The only arcade at Redondo is going to be closed down.
I remember these rides. It's a shame a lot of the older rides are gone. Especially on the Boardwalk, these days you can't even was 5 steps without seeing someone vaping or a group of girls wearing very tight bathing suits. These were the days
Sorry pal, but I was born and raised in NJ and have called them "sprinkles" my whole life, as a matter of fact I don't know of a single person , friend or family, that calls them "Jimmy's" .
For me, if they’re rainbow, they’re sprinkles, if they’re chocolate, they’re jimmies. That’s just how my mind reads it as, since I grew up with kids my age calling them sprinkles and adults calling them jimmies.

that clown maze is so easy to get in and out of! me and my friends would go in there and walk right out the exit just to bug people

I’m from Pittsburgh pa and growing up we called them jimmys! Although right now a lot of people say sprinkles. But it was always Jimmy’s.
