After I saw this animation in the game I was extremely sad and shocked even with the backstory of Wukong and his sworn brother Bull, the way it was portrayed is so raw and painful. I love this mv and please play it if you can.
I just thought this, if someone mentions the two different art styles, yes, I can see that. As well, I know that if we had an anime or an equivalent of such a thing in Chinese culture or any others, it would be extremely expensive. The one art style can be used for "current" events throughout Journey to the West and Black Myth, while the other could be for memories or past events to catch the watcher up if they didn't read the books or play the game.
One thing that perplexes me, is I get Wukong losing because despite being absurdly busted he has fallen in battle in the Journey of the West for plot purposes but how is it that he died in the demon bull king flashback? I mean he is indestructible due to his many layers of immortality that's why he is considered invincible. In the story, it took the Buddha himself to subdue him and he wasn't slain cause that would literally be impossible, he was trapped under a mountain.

@@supergogeta4573 how wukong died is not shown clearly or not in scene - opening cut scene of game erlang pushed and wukong fell into a mountain then the scene jumped to 500 years later where the old monkey NPC was telling the player his quest - So it is implied there was a battle on the mountain wukong died and his remains were divided into 6 relics by erlang and given to the 6 big bosses that the player has to collect back - my understanding this is not a what if and bull king cut scene was jumping back and fore the timeline or memory lane - wukong first rebellion bull king was a supporter wukong failed was crushed under mountain - journey to west start bull king was in the way he was defeated by wukong - after jounery to west wukong became a buddha but was unhappy started second rebellion which is the beginning of the game - it is implied bull king and the other chapter big bosses were supporting erlang to crush wukong second rebellion and were rewarded with wukong relics

It’s not as bad as people say but I wouldn’t say it’s a good song nor would I play it multiple times. It has it’s moments but it’s off for the first half I guess I don’t really know how to put it
Im having a rough time with the game, even though i have the requirements for the game it still looks bad for me. The graphics are super bad for me and even though i can get it close to good the snow zone looks horrendous.. love the gameplay and the lore, but i really can't admire the game for how it looks..
