Sonya was the first female character I played since the original MK1. It makes me sad that as a Sonya main she is a Kameo fighter in the NEW MK1 installment. It would be great if she was on the main roster.

I honestly feel like Sonya and Jade have a strong chance of being dlc. They would be great choices for female representation along with Sareena. I love the roster a lot even as a Sonya main, but with these three possibly being dlc, it would be even better! Great video Losty

I still find it so hard to believe that Sonya and Kano did not make the base roster for MK1. They went nuts switching the male ninjas around to where it doesn't make much sense ... Hanzo is now Smoke and not Scorption, Quey Lang is now Scorpion with fire powers from the Lin Quei snow/ice clan while Bi Han still as the OG Sub Zero. And no Sonya/Kano. Hopefully they will do a Special Forces/Black Dragon Kombat pack where Sonya, Kano, Jax, Kabal can be added to the main roster. Way back when the original MK 1 was out in arcades, Sonya was my main. I'll miss her.

So sad Losty, Sonya is a must have in a MK game, my main players were Jade and Joker, I enjoyed a lot Mk11 during COVID, even the stressing Kombat Leagues :) , I watched a lot your videos and SonicFox, NinjaKilla, etc. but I stopped playing when Netherealm decided not support the game anymore and I think I will skip MK1, for me Netherealm only cares about the money and not the fans, maybe I will try MK1 if the final reviews are at least 9/10, but I doubt it a lot.

Sonya and Jade were my mains in mk11 and I’ve put so many hours into them. Sucks we probably won’t see either in mk1 🤦🏽
Nope Sonja is a default kameo and jade is questionable she wasn't in the ending of mk1 maybe she's a dlc mk1 seems like money favorite just be warned

Rhonda has a good voice. Her acting was just terrible. She's gotten better these days - at least based off of her promos - which isn't exactly high level acting, but compared to her promos when she started vs her promos now, there's been a marked improvement in her acting ability. Now if she could get those emotional scenes down, then I wouldn't mind her as Sonya again. However, Tricia Helfer sounds exactly like Rhonda, but already has the voice acting skills. So it would be better to just get her to play Sonya Blade again instead. I know Sonya was an afterthought when the original MK1 came out, but I still think it's messed up how it seems like they are keeping her out of the reboot's first game.
