I am just glad that Stray Kids write songs about what they feel, it just encourages us that we are not alone and even the "perfect" kpop idols feel this way some times. One think I realise, Stray Kids has many emotional rapper. I know they are based hip hop group and when the rapper rap, it sound so cool and aggressive but when they do melody rap, it just hit so hard. I can't describe it, but because they wrote the lyrics themselves, that's why their expression is so real. They went through it. They are still young but you got to admit, almost all member are quite sentimental people. I don't really see this kind of kpop group in the industry. Most boy group don't do this kind of concept. Do you guys remember they sang Glow at their survival show, they say Changbin wrote it. They didn't even debut that time but Changbin wrote the song that reach the fan's heart. And when Minho, Felix and Changbin sang it in front of JYP, they look so sad like there's really that sad emotion on their face.

The whole song is about mental health as you can see in the lyrics, but did you pay attention to the DETAILS?
The dry tree that was painted blue is a direct reference to when in 2019, people in Mukinbudin, Australia started painting the trees blue to spread mental health awareness.
The project began with the family and friends of Jayden Whyte, a 29 year old who took his own life. He once snuck out of his house as a child with a friend to prank his father, painting a dead tree bright blue.
The blue tree project took international proportions with the message that it was ok not to be ok and to reach for help.
Plus the fact this was posted on mental health awareness month.
Stray kids have always talked about mental health in their music and to see this song having a deep meaning even visually in their music video left me speechless.
This is why I hate when people talk bad about stray kids and their music. So many of their songs hold deep meaning.

Honestly, i've been postponing this song for such a long time. Guess i just couldn't bring myself together to listen to this masterpiece. But the moment first chords started i already felt it, felt that this song is gonna take special place in my mind. Even though i didn't understand lyrics at first, but the emotions throughout the song just shivered down my spine. Thanks to that comment with eng lyrics i felt even deeper the meaning of the song, and the fact that it was released during quarantine. Thank you Changbin for putting this feeling of loneliness into sucn a wonderful song, and of course our Chan for making this beautiful melody and arrangement.
