      This was a 2001 model with I think 16,000 miles on it.

    Not exactly helpful.

      Well this one was my second video I ever made so there was a lot to learn. I agree it could have been much better. My current videos are highly detailed and the complaint is normally that I show too much lol

      @@BrickHouseBuilds sorry dude. I don’t mean to be critical but I’m frustrated because this is exactly the task I’m trying to do. It’s actually not all that difficult to figure out. Just trying to avoid mistakes. Keep on truckin.

    I see that you couldn’t remove the throttle cable from the carb. But you removed it from the handle, once unscrew does the cable pop out. Because I’m pulling and it’s not coming out

      That was the choke plunger. I couldn't break it free until I put some heat in the carb bodies

    Hey what did you do to take the ‘idle control’ part out. I’m trying to take the carbs out and that’s the spot I’m stuck. Do I have to go from the lower left side and bring the whole hose with the carbs?

    • @BrickHouseBuilds

      The choke? Not sure I understand

    • @haydenmilles6662
      @haydenmilles6662 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BrickHouseBuilds Not the choke. Left side, kind of under seat. You can twist it to change idle speed. I followed the hose and it goes to the right side of the carbs

      @@haydenmilles6662 Oh the actual idle screw I didn't think about that. I think it simple slides out of its holder and you simply unscrew it once the carbs are off the bike.

      @@BrickHouseBuilds Thanks for the response. I'll take a look in the morning, spent all night trying to get the damn carbs out

      Hopefully you found it helpful even though the video isn't as good as my later ones. Leaves a bit to be desired haha

      It was my 2nd video edit ever. Id never done a time-lapse, never put music to a video, and was just getting rolling on the project. My videos have progressed a lot but I had to start from somewhere. If you have an SV650 just dig in and think it through step by step. Feel free to film, edit, and upload it as well for people to learn from.

      @@BrickHouseBuilds currently need to rebuild my carburator it's not holding gas same bike if it's a 2002 same model (holding gas is probably the wrong term but just replaced the stator but gas comes flying out)
