    Hello Jane..thanks for sharing your video's I caught this when I noticed how beautiful they looked so I decided to tune in and watch this. Glad I did! I cannot put crimp beads on these memory wires I've tried and tried and they just break. So I seen the tubes your using and now I can pull out all the memory wire that I quit using because of the breaking of the crimps and buy me the tubes .thank you thank you!

    I enjoy the rambling and beading! Thanks for showing how you close the memory wire earrings. I've seen it done by looping the ends together but that is frustrating to do and results in some swearing, if truth be told. Lolol! Eh, the good thing about beading is it can always be done over. Good to see Percy back on the job! Don't worry about rushing to get everything done quickly. I'll be here when you get to it. Yes, I do watch the metal detecting videos as well. Very interesting to see history being uncovered. Thanks again!

    ❤ Hi i was wondering if it were possible to use a( one step looper) to do the end loops,But because memory wire is quite tough,would it acualy cut it,? I've not tryed it myself ,but i will i think its worth a try anyway, the memory wire bangles are so beautiful the way you done them,and easy to do. But if this works, it would make loop making easier for memory wire looping.please let me know what you think yourself on this idea.💐🌹💐

    Hi Jane, these memory wire bracelets are soooo pretty. I love them 💗
    They're so much better than the big, chunky one that I made recently. I've actually taken the one I made apart and, because a lot of the beads that were on it are gorgeous, I want to make a memory wire cuff or bangle like yours. I love doing Silk Wrapping too, so I want to try Silk Wrapping around the memory wire, as well as adding on beads. Do you do Silk Wrapping? I'm asking because I noticed that some of your bangles look like they've been Silk Wrapped with pink cord. I love it because it's easy to learn how to do, but it looks beautiful, and everyone thinks you're really skilled because it looks so lovely!!It's a way of wrapping a strand of cord around another cord to be decorative, but it's traditionally done - it's an ancient Japanese technique - of wrapping cord in a beautiful colour around several other cords, in order to tightly hold the cords in place. So, it's great for multi strand bracelets and necklaces to hold all the strands together, at the beginning and the end of them. At the moment, I'm making a multi strand bracelet with 2 long strands of leather cord that I put through the hole of an extra large heart - shaped clasp (that I bought a short time ago on aliexpress.com) and I pulled the 2 cords through the hole in the clasp until they were doubled over and I had 4 lengths of leather cord hanging from the clasp. Then I gathered the 4 cords together neatly and used C Lon cord in Navy Blue (in the Heavyweight Tex 400 size, which is 0.9mm in diameter and is the thickest of all the C Lon cords) to Silk Wrap around the leather cords until the Wrap was 20mm long, instead of just tying the leather cords in a knot, which doesn't look nearly as good! I've got the C Lon cord in 'French Lilac,' 'Navy Blue,' 'Amethyst Purple,' 'Sage Green' and 'Cocoa' - which is a beautiful donkey brown colour, a sort of grey/brown, and I've Silk Wrapped around the individual leather cords for decorative purposes too. BTW, I absolutely recommend buying gemstone beads from aliexpress.com because they're much cheaper and they're really nice beads. I just bought a long strand of gorgeous faceted, cube - shaped amethyst beads that are 10mm square, and OK, a few of them are slightly chipped, but, as they all look great, plus they only cost $12.00 au (or $6.00 American dollars) who cares? I buy most of my semi-precious stone beads from aliexpress.com now and I'm never disappointed.
    Thank you for this great video, love from Amanda in Australia xox

      Hi 👋😀... Wow... Sounds like your having a great time being creative 😊... Im so pleased you enjoyed the video and you're going to give it a go 😃.. Ooooooo.. No I haven't tried silk wrapping, sounds fab, may have to have a dabble... I think the pink bits you can see on some of the bracelets is rubber tubing, you can buy it from most bead stores on the Internet, so readily available. Im so pleased you are enjoying such a great hobby and taken the time out of your day to leave me such a warm comment, I really do appreciate it, and I really appreciate you watching my videos to 🤗 Take good care of yourself and Very Happy Beading 💐

    What is memory wire?
    What size wire?
    Please. Thank You

    • @janewalshaw
      @janewalshaw  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi 🖐️.. The simple answer is that it is a hard wire that holds it's shape from when it was made,. You can buy it in different sizes, as in the diameter of coils.. For making bangle style jewellery and also a larger one to make necklace style jewellery... If you are lucky enough to have a bead store close by, pop along to see if they stock it, if not the Internet is your friend 😀... Thank you for watching and Happy Beading 💐

    • @janewalshaw
      @janewalshaw  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi 😀.... My advice would be to get some round nose pliers, and keep practicing on some scrap wire maybe until you get the hang of it ... It does take time to perfect, but you will get there ☺️...

      Hi Catherine, you should be able to purchase the tubes from any bead store, or try eBay ... Welcome to the beading family xx

    I am just wondering why you put seven hematite beads on one side and only 5 on the other, instead of six on each side. It made it so the focal bead was off centre.
