Much better than the crap on tv now, they should put these original episode's on weekday afternoons on bbc as it used to be. Im sure the sad sacks of today would be on social media taking the mickey out of it, jealousy is a funny thing.
@@JamesTaylor-dj5me Working Lunch had an awful, awful intro. Baited you good and proper into thinking some fun looking cartoon was about to start, only to be presented with undertaker faced Adrian Chiles
@@paulvarley6347 Haha! Yeah I never understood who they thought would be watching that since anyone interested would surely be working. Or was it common for businessmen to watch TV on their lunch break?
People watched this in thier millions. Student’s especially. No internet and only 4 channels back then. It actually started the interest into cooking in the U.K. and helped lots of celeb chefs get well known.
I have many fond memories of watching this as a child after school! Thanks for uploading!
Used to watch this back in the day, for fern and Leslie especially! Bonus episode.
I was a student when this was on, loved it!

1996. You would struggle to get the pork for that now
@@davidtownson1476 Indeed. I suppose Vanessa Feltz really make the most of cheap plentiful pork. Still love her though...
@@Nickelodeon81 it’s not Vanessa feltz!! It’s Fern Britton!!
