I feel obligated to tell you about the Bible verses which some say condemn women preachers. I don't know the exact context of these verses in their chapters, nor am I certain about the cultural context at the time--I know that some claim those factors to show that these Bible verses do not condemn women preachers. I'm just trying to help :) Okay so the verses are 1 Timothy 2:12-14 and 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, there may be more but these seem to be the main ones. Just so you know, all of this that I'm saying comes from a place of love.
Anna, God has just recently said to me to leave my job to go into full-time ministry and preach the word. So I know where you are coming from. You have the anointing of the Holy Spirit inside of you. Follow what the Holy Spirit prompts you to do. It doesn't matter whether you are male or female, its about going out and preaching His Word. You will have friends, family, loved ones, even total strangers come against you but only you know what God has laid on your heart to do. Follow God and not mankind. This came exactly when I needed it. A lot of sermons are about other weapons not prospering against us but when we ourselves have no weapons we can feel powerless like I did before watching this message. So empowering to know that not only won't it prosper but that those with weapons are not above God and we without weapons are anything but powerless, cause we fight in the spirit. It makes a lot more sense now why God's strength is made perfect in our weakness

I feel obligated to tell you about the Bible verses which some say condemn women preachers. I don't know the exact context of these verses in their chapters, nor am I certain about the cultural context at the time--I know that some claim those factors to show that these Bible verses do not condemn women preachers. I'm just trying to help :) Okay so the verses are 1 Timothy 2:12-14 and 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, there may be more but these seem to be the main ones. Just so you know, all of this that I'm saying comes from a place of love.

Anna, God has just recently said to me to leave my job to go into full-time ministry and preach the word. So I know where you are coming from. You have the anointing of the Holy Spirit inside of you. Follow what the Holy Spirit prompts you to do. It doesn't matter whether you are male or female, its about going out and preaching His Word. You will have friends, family, loved ones, even total strangers come against you but only you know what God has laid on your heart to do. Follow God and not mankind. I got a tattoo over a month ago on my hand that says “no weapon” and as I laid here I thought I need to watch a sermon by Furtick. Of course this was a recent sermon. I got the tattoo as a reminder of God’s faithfulness in a painful season when I’ve been so distant and keep running away from Him instead of to Him. I needed this sermon.

This came exactly when I needed it. A lot of sermons are about other weapons not prospering against us but when we ourselves have no weapons we can feel powerless like I did before watching this message. So empowering to know that not only won't it prosper but that those with weapons are not above God and we without weapons are anything but powerless, cause we fight in the spirit. It makes a lot more sense now why God's strength is made perfect in our weakness
