You didn't spin the reels on the last one when you bet 1 credit, you have to bet 1 credit and push the same button as pinball. Didn't you not see that the reels didn't spin?

Aside from tuning out the distractions, I hope it also limits the affect of classical conditioning from the slot's bells and whistles. I like to be focused when I play and not get too impulsive.

You don't necessarily have to cash ticket after every win - keep enough cash on hand, pocket the slips and cash out later
