J. K pure and pious soul. Nature is with him. Nature is forced to take care of such a pious human. He knew that attachments and desires bring sorrow and pain. So he was above all.
Very simple. Lol. K's a world teacher. He's a mirror. We see him and there's only our reflection, but to see ourselves for who we really are we must understand what are the challenges preventing us from seeing clearly: conditioning. We must realize we don't know. We must realize there's no one who can give us the answer including K. He points and it's up to us to see beyond the superficiality. K is a beautiful mirror.
I had the exact same feeling in school when other kids would cheer or boo two kids in some form of conflict, immediately turning it into a popularity contest. I would either tell the provokers off or just not engage in it any further, that is how a lot of fights were started. I was not interested in making others feel inferior, envy is a horrible thing.
He feels he has not done anything worth clapping for . He lived naturally and fully without expecting anything in return propelled by his inner joy and compassion .
He doesn’t build a “me” or an “I” image. If there is no “me” what is the clapping all about?? ( he lives what he preaches )….No flattery, no followers….. because all that corrupts even the “Gurus”, from being “self”less…. He wants us all also to realize that “me” is just a product of thought . Once we truly see it, we will also avoid the dangers of flattery, attachment etc etc
Let's define what good means. Being good means being good for the people not for oneself. Being good for oneself is corruption. When you are good for the people, then you can make a living, believe me. But how many of us can say that they are good for the people in the sense of not being corrupted ? I definitely cannot.
He had a community of people that stood by, like a great big family. His basic needs were met, he had few wants. Thats a great deal if you are not a demanding person.
I mean this well,ok! : If JK's personal chef's recapitulation of JK's daily menu of vegetarian staple and menus drawn to host his guests(which were serialised in a Thamizh newspaper's Sunday supplement years ago) were anything to go by, he must have dined like a king.
Household life with detachment is the toughest test of a true spiritual person I regard j.k . He is undoubtedly the great genius. But earning the money through honest labour and then share that money with needy while facing this corrupt world, i think this is the toughest thing and this is in true sense self reliance
True, a human being can choose to be of this world and the other at the same time, and live a balanced life. Such a path will lead us to a harmonious existence balancing material well-being and spiritual fulfilment.
i am sorry,I am deprived of the moment to be with this great man ,the wisest living BUDDHA ..of modern time.jK,from India ..desire to be with him to resonate our love for all, enlightenment for the world for peace, joy, happiness for all..birds,beasts,animals ,plants..serenity,joy,only happiness for every one
Ok...so other people pay for you. Just should have said that. Surely in his infinite wisdom he realizes this is a special situation unsustainable for most
I do not thing he has contempt for anything. He simply had what he needed and no more. Who of us can say, we have what we need and no more, who of us are not greedy? I thought I was not greedy, but I posses so much more than I need. Therefore I am greedy - fact.
Well, not every one has a foundation wherever he travels. Very very simply : you need a certain amount of money to access health, education, home, food. As a wise man told me : money is not to blame. Culture of money is. Money is useful, like sewers are useful. But, could you imagine a "culture of sewer " ?
You are correct. A lot of us have to go out and earn a living and we don't have a foundation to look after us. But I guess too, that is the way that he earns his living and there is nothing wrong with that. But I think his point is the same as yours. He did say that all he wants is enough for food, shelter and health and nothing more. He sees some of the pitfalls with money that I have experienced myself. ILike if I hoard money for the future, then there is already a fear there about the future. Then there will also be the fear that you won't have enough or that you can lose your money. Also there is arrogance there because you assume that you will live for a long time while in reality.....today might be your last breath on this planet. You can also use money to mask other issues within you too. Like if there is unhappiness or discontentment inside you, most people will buy objects to try and pleasure themselves and get rid of that discontentment. Also I have experienced families breaking up over money in wills ect.
Beautiful and insightful comment. You are wise. You must have been through a lot. I feel you. And wishing you joy and peace of mind in the coming days 🕉️. Keep smiling and stay beautiful. ( human) In Lak'ech. 😉
He had many contributors while he was giving lecutres conferences etc that contributions used to go directly to krishnamurti foundation not his pocket, the rest is in the video itself
So when you have others taking care of you you dont really have to concern yourself with money..Its nice he was frugal..but still..most humans struggle for money and have no foundation...
The question was not about poverty....it was how does he earned his money and how did he survive. He earned his money and survived by travelling the world giving talks and only took what was needed to cloth, shelter and feed himself. That is fair enough. I don't think that we expected him to do all that for nothing and maybe hold down a 9-5 job on the side as well!!

I love how K always repeats the question twice.
I've followed many gurus. Gone deep with many teachers.
But K is the master. I love this man deeply.
forgive me he is truly the master of them all.
Why not. Those who are concerned about life he is the answer. His contribution to humanity is ever great.
He is so humble. Now a days it is hard to get such a teacher.

Wow....appreciated your response very much. You too reflecting something beautiful in it !!! Thank you for being here and writing this.
this comment has given me a further understanding of the dots I’ve been trying to connect recently, cheers
He just requested them to stop clapping, wow it takes a whole new level of understanding and philosophy
hahaha, he is in the moment! he hears the clapping and immedietly feels the shallowness of a clapping crowd, does not want to be part of that
@@damianhesse6264 I feel its not just that. He takes no pride in preaching or having followers or having fame.
I had the exact same feeling in school when other kids would cheer or boo two kids in some form of conflict, immediately turning it into a popularity contest. If someone is good as him they don't need to work the world and the nature will take care 💜
That's mean that people they don't have maney aren't good? Why the nature don't care about them?

@abhik Agree, except the word good. The word I would use instead is pure.
Gratitude 🙏. You can see his contempt for money is so real!
It’s a fantastic answer to many. It’s good to clear out the doubts.
He had a community of people that stood by, like a great big family. His basic needs were met, he had few wants. Thats a great deal if you are not a demanding person.
I Love this Man!!!!!
It was a very very important question. Thanks for asking and answering it.

The so called balanced life is also an illusion. What are you balancing exactly. Lust and detachment?
Simple & straight answer by K☺💕
straight to the point

Thank you 🌌💞🌷🌻
He is like speaking in behalf of buddha.. 😍
He is a Buddha! There have been many Buddhas on our planet … as per Gautama the Buddha… ( learnt this at Vipassana)…
They say he was the reincarnation of Lord Maytreya
Congrats! For 500k

His job is to have lectures like that. Supporters realized its more important that he teaches a world then works a ordinary job.

Much respect for Jiddu. But people forget that the theological society tried to pass him off as a false Christ.
