We had to also observe how other Chinese players perform in this tournament not only praising Lin Shidong. Please be aware that this other young man, 温瑞博, is only 17 years old. He had been U17 Youth Champion. He had played with Lin a number of times. Given more exposure and chance, Wen definitely can develop and improve. Some people mature early, some mature a bit slower.
@@mrnt0810 Too much praise on LIN Shidong already. You are entitled to, of course. But this tournament is mainly used by China and their fans to observe how other Chinese players perform. And we are delighted that KWAI Man beat Satsuka ODO.
it seems the WTT listened to the fans and FINALLY removed that birds eye camera angle...most is recorded from the right corner, the fh corner, where the body is not in the way, some closer and lower almost on table height, some futher back... also in the semis... VERY GOOD!
this is some 2nd tier tournament so they give us practical angle, back to main tournament like champion, smash, finals,... they will be back with eagle eye angle for the sponsors
'Steamrolled'- he had to make a comeback from 2-0 down in the first match, and should honestly have lost to Uda if uda didn't get frustrated and kept using his tricks. Definitely didn't steamroll this tournament, but showcased his good mentality and determination
@@kapi6130 They mean LIN need to sweat that turns into steam in order to win..LIN is very tired now after these 2 months strenuous games. Have pity on him, not just praise him.

No you have to observe how other players perform. We still praise Lin Shidong before others finish maturing.

@@FrederickFung-l2qdon't forget about huang youzheng who almost beat a very strong yukiya Uda (who honestly should have beaten lin in that match imo)
@@kapi6130 I like your words :almost","..should....".
Commentator says "uh!" after every point

When the main tournaments returns they will go back to side angle (champions, smash, finals).

Nice angle. And a cool technique by Lin Shidong - fake bh flick, could be seen occasionally from Ma Long. (5:57)
Lin just steamrolled through this tournament. His loss to Felix LeBrun in Montpelier was a resounding defeat.

why is the framerate always messed up, but only for the highlight videos?
Lin Shidong is only around 5'4" or 5'5". It doesn't matter though as his talent level is so high.
Where is the semi between lgy and wen ruibo?
There was none, LGY dropped out after QF due to injury. That's why if you look at the result on WTT's site it says WO for "walkover"
Thanks @@PhSportss
Let Lin Shidong rest. He's competing in one tournament after another
looks like WR was told to lose.
welp that was one-sided. Too bad Wen wasn't able to showcase his backhand.
how much money did he win with this first place?
US$1...
Why a top 2 player is in a contender?
For playing mix double mainly.
for diplomatic reasons. OMAN produces petroleum, which exports to China as well.
Lin service is totally fault
Now I seldom heard such bad commentating. Absolutely nothing to say except 'Oh my goodness' and counting points. SAD!
