Whichever way one looks at this, there does seem to be some difficulty in matching up the time-lines.
Perhaps Yousaf's family there knew someone who told them about what had happened (and therefore, they would be expecting a reaction from Israel), or they "knew someone who knew someone".....that kind of thing. Do the donations to UNWRA have anything to do with this? I wonder - a kind of "thank you" for facilitating safe conduct? The world knows that elements within UNWRA are linked with Hamas, either as operatives or fellow travellers.
However, whichever way you cut it, there seems to have been some link between the events of 7th October 2023 and the First Minister, whether through people who "knew" about it, or those who were involved. As I said, whichever way you look at this, it seems murky.
