Absolute in awe of your craftsmanship. Even had I the budget I doubt I would have the disciplined will to maintain such a layout. Your client clearly has an ambition to operate one helluva a model railroad and when you think of all the scenics that need to follow, just wow! Thank you for taking the time and trouble to record, edit and post your progress.
I suspect that the owner will be getting a little help from friends in his area. Already, a couple of my other Sydney-based viewers have expressed an interest.
Just awesome work. Hands down one of the best people to hire if you want a layout designed and built. Always in awe at what you have designed and built. Thank you for sharing these builds as it gives so many of us ideas for our future builds.
This project must be your "Grand Masterpiece." It is an awesome layout and truly work of art. Undoubtedly, your best work. Quite challenging, I would imagine. Congratulations on this, once you're done. It's quite interesting you catch things early on you need to change or tweak to get it right.
Wow. More incredible every week Peter! Maybe it is just an optical illusion on camera, but the gradient for the lower track at the end of the peninsula looks more steep than your typical 1.5 max. Just curious what it is at that point. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to the next installment!
Both tracks are level around the end of the peninsula. The near track is further forward on the right, which coupled with the high camera angle, makes it appear sloped. The raised river bed on the right also means that the risers appear shorter, compounding the illusion.
Ammazing wath you are doing. Greetings from Switzerland, wehre this Spaces have to do with some kind of Dreamworks Studios. Greetings, bless you. Alwin witch is enjoying all your Stuff.
Thank you for all your build videos. I guess this one is allready done and sent to the client. How long did this build take from start to finish? I thin it must be the biggest one you done so far in H0 scale? Regards from Sweden
Total waste of time watching this. Does he ever finish one of these and at what cost? This is not even worth watching since most of us mere mortals are not going to have anything close to this...👎👎
Then don't watch it. Your comment is ridiculous. Considering it's being built for a client, there would be some form of agreement/contract, so he would be obligated to deliver the product.
I would say he finishes these. If he did not he would not be hired repeatedly. We may not be able to afford these layouts, but they are are still fun to watch as they are developed.
Lol, seriously do you seriously think he posts these videos for the TH-cam views? How many model train enthusiasts do you there there are that justify even filming and editing for a single one each week? He has like 25k views a month in total. That's like running a vegan diner in rural Texas. His services don't come cheap. Design alone costs well into the four figures, let alone building something like this. It takes ages to build something like this and if you were to spend 100k or more for such a layout, you want to be updated about progress on the regular. You'd be well invested into knowing each little detail whilst having it being built so you can make minor adjustments if need comes. Think about it. If you have your roof replaced, you'd be home and offering your buildings coffee and cookies on the regular. Not because you care about them, but you care about the progress, mishaps or small details that make a difference later on. If you make small talk with your builders and show real interest they are also more keen to share information. That is the difference between receiving a good product and great product. In the end, be grateful that a large scale model builder is sharing his tips and tricks with a very small audience. You might not build a layout this large, but picking up a trick or tip here or there might very well make a difference in your smaller layout.

Yet another triumph. Definitely the top builder in my opinion 👌
Thank-you

Hello Peter & Zeus, I'm a fairly new man Nscaler from Harrisburg, PA. I really enjoy watching your channel, it's very educational.
Take care.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful work. Love the waterfall idea and impressive design.
Another great video. The large-curve technique segment was worth the price of admission alone. Keep up the good work!
Glad it was helpful to you.
Starting to look very impressive.
THANK YOU FOR SHOW GREAT DETAIL VIDEO
Great work Peter. Can’t wait to see the upper deck develop
Sorry, my magic wand ran out of charges before I started this project so I'll just have to do everything by hand.

Incredible layout. How much have you been contracted to do? Track?, Bridges? Scenery?
At the moment, it's just benchwork, track, wiring and bridges, but I'm hoping to be able to add some of the scenery as well.
I so hope you get a trip to sydney out of this to put is all together in situ. Is this the biggest layout you have designed and built?
Definately.

Not yet. Still about a year to go.
how big is the layout going to be room size
It's about 20' x 46'.
