There's a lot of evidence suggesting that they're working on making this into an actual show which I mean it currently has 24 Million views in just 6 months it would be crazy not to make it into a show since not only does it bring back alot of characters and new ones it's concept is amazing, and the way it is there's plenty of opportunity for ideas
They aren't making it a show based on the Friday Night Funkin' mod. This mod was based on the trailer on Adult Swim. They aren't making a show from an FNF Mod.

I just noticed something, which sparked my own theory.
All of the corrupted characters were from cancelled shows, meaning the Darkness may actually be kind of like that static place in The Amazing World of Gumball. This means maybe the Darkness isn’t actually trying to take over the tv universe, but rather get rid of characters who are no longer needed in the cartoon world. As for the Adult Swim April Fools 2022 prank (which was more of a gift than a prank), the reason the characters didn’t pay any attention to the darkness was because they didn’t see anything wrong. The cartoon world always runs down the same way, regardless of what happens. This would explain why Rick, who is one of the most meta characters in cartoon history, didn’t pay any mind to what was happening to Morty, since the Darkness is part of the fourth wall, which most cartoon characters are unaware of. Pibby, however, can see the Darkness since preschool show characters are aware of the fourth wall. However, I’m still trying to figure out how the Darkness still went unnoticed in the live action show that I can’t remember the name of, since it takes place in real life. Also, how the hell did Pibby get into my bathroom :/
But Craig got corrupted in trailer and I had heard that his show is still going on.

Every Pibby mod is spammy and is hated by the FNF community, but it's the best concept I would know about how The Darkness would corrupt the base game instead of some cartoons. I'm glad Jakeneutron, the man who is pinned in comments started it all with a banger song than the others.
I might as well point out something about Mordecai. During his song Overwork, yes, the health drain is so rapid that it's almost impossible to see the losing icon. However, this isn't true. If you FC the spammy part near the end, it is possible to see it for a split second as the spammy part ends.

Dusk till dawn is definitely my favorite song not only does it have so many references to mlp fim but the vocals and the instrumental leaves chills down your back using similar instrumentals as the shows opening plus the fact that pinkie survived is interesting considering her fourth wall breaking powers and such i do hope that we see more mlp pinby stuff it would be interesting to see the older generations get pibbified
