...the vent at the top shouldn't be called a vent, but a chimney, ...loll, it's straight through. I live in a hot climate so would definitely love this.

My first time seeing this helmet after researching for 2 weeks on which helmet i want to invest in, i was on the fence for a Shoei or AGV but the look is epic ill be researching this one now. Subscribed for review. Also water resistance on the inside would be appreciated.

Na, push tab once you go it you got it and the vents are not even a thing. Easy peesy
fair enough. I was faffing with mine today with thick, winter gloves on (Sena Impulse lid) . Everything is difficult with winter gloves

Im definitely waiting on the all black carbon (hopefully they have it in matte) My Bell Race Star is my favorite (even over my pista) but this might take the cake

Maybe I’m wrong but spending $1500+ on a helmet(especially for street riding) seems a little extra to me. Now granted I only have an R3 but I couldn’t imagine paying for a helmet that is a quarter of the price of my bike.

It's sexy, but for the price, I'll have to stick with my Shark GT Pro Carbon. It's nice for half that price. Not perfect of course... I do like the look of this Alpine helmet though.

Awesome helmet, how heavy is it, not that it matters as been a limited edition I won’t be able to get one anyway, especially as I’m from Australia
It’s super light and you can’t get the limited but you can the the production which is the same helmet.
Do love the exposed carbon but no sure how i feel about the hole design of the helmet
It is very nice I can tell you that but you need to see one in person to get the real feel of it.

Damn dude. “Made in China?” Yikes. How is that acceptable when the competition like Shoei and Arai is handmade in Japan.
Yup, early 2000's just about every Alpinestars jacket/suit was made in Italy, or at least in Europe. Then it became where only the top tier race replica suit was. Sorry, but I'd take a hand built Japanese Shoei X-15 or Corsair X any day over this.
I am not going to argue with you guys there it is a great helmet. The shoei and Arai are next on my list.
I understand and I change my helmet every 6 - 8 month and the Arai and shoei are next. You are missing out it is a great helmet!

Im trying to buy my first street/track helmet and I can’t really find one that I like until I came across this one. Pretty much all the nice helmets and or carbon are not sold here in the US and hard to get or sold out. The agvs break the bank with the price and so I’m really wanting this one to preorder. What are the chances we actually get it from the preorder in February and you said you have a code from the motobros website ? Is this where you got your helmet from ?
Yes I got mine from MotoBros and yes the shipping starts on 1/30. If you pre order you will see what customer service is. I would say give them a chance, great people and actually care! You will love the helmet!
Just an fyi MotoBros does not control anything with delays or anything like that, but they will keep you up to date!

I got it from the alpinestars rep. He knew I was looking and they happen to have four become available. 2 small and 2 large, I got one of the larges. So lucky!

@Ridetousness you would be correct, except that shoei and arai have longer history than most any other manufacturer- if not the longest.
@@ayowser01 I agree and those are both really good helmets - I was going to do the x15 for the new helmet until I was able to get this one. The only thing to remember is Alpinestars has been making helmet for a while this is just their first road helmet. They have the knowledge.
