  • EP 164: Nick Fabrio, @longhorncapital, is an active day trader of Australian stocks-with a bias for short selling. He’s 28 years old and has been trading full-time for 3 years.
Although he currently lives in Texas, Nick and I were able to catch up, sit down and record this podcast while he was back in Sydney last month...

Trading as a beginner can be confusing and really complex especially after watching so many videos about the indicators and strategies and if you ain't guided you will surely make a whole lot of mistakes that will cost you and that's why it's really pertinent and important to have a guide and mentor

For some reason; and I have been listening Chat with Traders for a few years now, this episode and this trader resonated with me strongly. I have listened to it a few times and actually each time it gets better and I learn more. I appreciated the casual tone and the roundabout way that the interview flowed, Thank you, Aaron, it has been a pleasure. I think what you offer traders is really a mirror into themselves and how they do what they do, again thank you.

Great video, he makes some good points. Like recognizing a constant buyer or seller(mutual or hedge fund either acquiring or liquidating a particular stock all day) can help one from getting their head handed to them trying to provide liquidity for this large buyer or seller. Sounds like he is explaining a quick form of latency arbitrage at 18:48 in the video. I like how this guy lists groups of stocks after going over the daily macro theme(getting the ETFs out of the way) Instead of just listing his stocks in focus, he makes sure hes not missing any major commodities movements. Another great video.

Love the growth in selections for the podcast at first it seemed that pretty much anyone with a service to sell could get an interview. It would be pretty cool if you could go back over the interviews and filter out the "traders" who cant provide results that they actually make the money they claim to make or at least a disclaimer saying before each interview saying that you have not been provided access to broker statements and cant verify this traders performance or that you have been provided access to broker statements. As BLB Capital stated in your podcast they either make money or they dont simple as that. Keep up the good work

if you have cash just buy a monthly or bi-weekly during this downturn. Or you can go more heavy in the more the market crashes. A 60-70% drop and I would be more greedy than now. @@HPhenomenal wow, bitter, resentful and insecure much?
A lot of what Nick says makes a lot of sense and provides insightful information about how he trades based on some tried and true methods. You only have to do a small amount of research to understand the techniques he is talking about. Sure he's not going to give away his secret sauce but the stuff he is giving us all is invaluable.
You on the other hand need to be more introspective, get to the bottom of why you are so jealous of other people's success ( which may be because you have failed at something others are so good at) and only then will you be able to move on in a positive manner.

    My summary for nick
1: he shorten the trade time compare to us - for example it takes us 3 months to have 20 %. For him it’s 2 hours work therefore he in other perceptive living longer than us , we can only compound 20 trading years but he can do 100 years because he can trade in a shorter TIMEFRAME
2: he s loss control very stick
3: he s only half half win ratio but add odds on winning trades which make reward over risk I observe this from his Twitter
4: not sure if he trade with other folks guess so
5: for trading setup + if you check his Twitter there s not tooo much setup I m more like be believe his skill watch the books he must have access to level 2 books which not mentioned in the video

Solid interview but I would've liked some more nuts and bolts questions for the beginners, i.e which broker platform, suitable internet setups, hardware requirements, realistic capital requirements to go full-time etc.

Use you're mobile phone and use you're banks broker. If you're with commonwealth like me. It's commsec. Then you create a cdia account just follow the steps. To go full time with no money coming in you would want 30,000 at the ready.
You have to pay tax on some profits.
      Better off working

Can anyone explain the "que jumping" trade nick spoke about in the beginning i assume he was doing in premarket

This is not something that Nick does anymore and it's not recommended. He's scalping between the bid and ask. Again this is not very sustainable and I wouldn't try to learn this strategy, just my two cents from somebody who day trades for a living.

I have come across lots of Scams, but thing is this, people think that using software&bot systems works, but they don't, all those are just scam, don't give up on binary/forex because you lost money, binary option is really a great way of making more money with the right trading strategy/technique too, master class system that works, contact me if interested on judeajabor@gmail.com
