Sparkling and not rotating:
Carbon brush problem, changing the carbon brush and sanding the copper commutator, greasing the gears and fixing it back.
Since the new carbon brushes are replaced there is spark while drilling. Once the flat carbon tip gets adjusted to the commutator in concave shape there will be no sparks.
