Hello I want this notes, help me
Could please give the me the name pf the piano your using
How did Hans ever came up with this? Its almost like the universe whispered this into his ears
6
Omg true
Right? It's beautiful! He actually came up with it before knowing what the movie was about. He was just told to compose a song about a father and his son.
This video shows everything.
th-cam.com/video/L_8t2VlwK4w/w-d-xo.html
A beautiful process. Music such as this is why I prefer the beauty of instrumental music over vocals (although both can be powerful.)
And this is not even the full song
Ik, man Zimmer is crazy and he loves his job and when Nolan comes to you and tells you that you need to make something that will stay forever with the viewer, listener, etc you need to come with something unique and Hans did it. idk how when he didn't even knew about the project not even Nolan cuz he had no script. But they did something amazing together.
Jacob, I live in Sacramento California and lost my lovely piano playing daughter, her name was molly. She played music like you. I have never gotten over it. Your interpretation of this song makes her come alive for me. she used to play music for me that sounded like yours. Could I please purchase a cd of your interpretation to play at my home? I will purchase. Thank you,Gary Woods
I'm so sorry for your loss, may the memory of your daughter live on forever.
+Gary Woods I am so sorry for your loss Mr. Gary.
So sorry to hear about your daughter. May the memory of her live on. RIP.
Losing someone... or something... important to you is never easy or acceptable... Try to hang in there as best you can, sir. I can't say it'll get easier with time. But I have to hope it will, for many reasons. Best wishes...
+Sakimi Chan wow, there are human beings who would say what you just said,im disgusted
There is something existential about this song - I feel something deeper when I hear it.
Raven Arellano it’s called existential dread, it’s in a few other songs. Gives you that deep feeling in your chest
Fernando Diaz can you name other songs which gives this feeling?
@@mariopalfi8359 I think it depends on what you associate to that song. For example "Howl's moving castle's" soundtrack (tbh every song made by studio ghibli), "it's ok,you're ok" by bonjr, "mystery of love" by sufjian Stevens (Call me by your name is the movie).

Absolutely!
interstellar background score should have won Oscar
Yes I agree!
IT DIDN'T?!!
All Hans Zimmer scores should have won Oscars...
Background? I think the score was just as prominent as the acting, as any good score should be.
Hmmm. I agree Zimmer is great but it also a bit repetitive. This piano version is edited by the video-owner and I find it a better version of the original. The OST is nice, but not the best for the criteria of nowadays.

Interstellar, was the first movie I watched with my dad when he came back after leaving my mom and I when I was only 4 years old. After a lot of blaming, insults, and quarrels, after raising my voice and shutting doors in his face, our relationship finally started to improve and we started to get closer.
On April 27, 2024, he suddenly died. How could he die like that when I'm only now starting to get to know him? I began to get used to his presence in my life. I felt happy and reassured, and he left without warning, as he had done in the past. Why does life have to be like this?
I’m so sorry. Saying prayers for you Travis ❤

Jack Rehium That movie was awesome and i Love it, but as far as we know, its not possible to even reach a black hole, and even it is possible, we would die immidiately if we reach the Event Horizon of it
Jack Rehium some scientists say that you can make into black holes without getting stretched like a spaghetti...if you revolve around the black hole and then make your way into it then they are higher chances of not getting stretched and torn multiple times. But that penny thingy will definitely take your life. Personally, I would never dare come close to black hole no matter how much I wanna die. 😲

I find that highly unlikely. You need to be able to see the scene to know the mood so that you can make the music according to that.
Qasid Bhatti Look up the making of
Deejay JeanP Ha ha! Before I read your reply I actually decided to watch it and once I saw that I was wrong I came back here to delete my comment. I'm surprised. But it's not like he had zero idea of what was going on (which is what I thought you meant). Nolan told him to do a piece about a relationship of a father to his son but no more information.
Qasid Bhatti Haha true, but unlinke usual, he didn't get to see anything of the movie, or the plot and stuff, just the story of father and son, which is pretty normal and general, compared to the rest of the movie's plot haha
Qasid Bhatti Indeed. Christopher Nolan gave Zimmer one page of writing, and Zimmer produced roughly this piece in reaction to it. I was recently at the Interstellar Live event, and it was really interesting to hear them both talk about the process. They have such a strong understanding of each other's work processes, its a genuine case of mutual respect and admiration for each other.

This scene reminded me of movies like The Day after Tomorrow and Finding Nemo. I am currently staying away from my family due to studies. I miss them a lot!
This is where real men cry ;(
I held it through the sad parts of the movie but that line broke me into pieces. Interstellar is a fantastic SF movie and no doubt my favorite movie, but this is what it's all about. I'm not a father but I felt that father-child bond as if I had myself a daughter to protect.
The love a father has for his child can transcend space and time. This music gives that feel exactly. Interstellar. What a great movie.
This song is such powerful and deep, like the movie.

The music though
And as we can see from the most popular movies, including Intersteller, the music is not only a really big factor, but definitely one of the biggest, maybe even the biggest factor in making a movie popular/good
I like this movie a lot too, but I am very certain that although it was a good movie otherwise too, I would not even feel half the same with a very bad/nonexistent soundtrack.
Same goes for most movies, especially if they are sad, but not only. Star wars wouldn't even be 1/10th or even way less without its amazing music
Sure it is
No, it is not. Only because of the music most people feel that. If only somebody makes a movie based on Srimad Bhagavatam... that might be.
Why does the emotion change so much with just a different instrument? It sounds more fragile on piano. I absolutely love this cover.
that's very often the case with minimalistic pieces like this one. how you actually present the music is 90% of the track :) and Hans Zimmer is just a genius, he knows exactly how to take simple emotional ideas and create something gigantic with them

Hans Zimmer is definitely my favorite composer of all time..💓
This music has something special in it when I listen thos music I feel going some where deeper
How Han Zimmer did not receive international and world acclaim for this piece of art baffles me. I absolutely am sent into another WORLD with this. How beautiful, how powerful, and just a subtle reminder of what ART truly has the power to be.
You might also like "A flower is not a flower" and "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence". Both wonderful and somewhat somber pieces

Whatever Hans Zimmer had in his mind in this movie, he is absolutely a legend into putting such great emotion in this music that really suits the movie
Chris Nolan actually told Hans to compose a soundtrack that signifies the relationship between a father and his daughter and this was what Hans came up with. And crazily enough, this theme is just so perfect to signify the emptiness of space and the weight of carrying the hopes of an entire civilisation on you. Bravo Hans!

Perfect song !
We sometimes get stuck in our own problems and can't see beyond it, but this soundtrack makes me feel so small in a massive universe which we don't even know the end of (is there?). We can face our problems and overcome them. We are so small, why do we make our problems so big then? This soundtrack makes me think about that.
That's a beautiful thought, I like to ponder some things such as that and really, in the end we are all beings on this small insignificant planet in such a vast universe or possibly located within a universe that belongs to a collective of universes, yet we are all so focused on ourselves. I like to think outside and expand my horizons I guess.

Hans Zimmer is truly a genius. So many incredible pieces of work! I love EVERYTHING he’s done/does! Something otherworldly about this piece. I can’t explain it. It penetrates my soul. Makes me cry EVERYTIME.
This is the type of music that makes you feel like the fate of the humanity depends on you taking a dump.
What? I gotta say you had us in the first half

Thanks.
This music doesn't have a single word, but it seems to tell everything to those who can understand it.
The music alone is making me question my existence
So beautiful, it capture the emotional intensity of the entire movie perfectly... best cover ever!

my mom said to me once...."it is good to cry once in a while"
me: "why would i cry for no reason."
now i understood why she said tht

Estou em lágrimas ouvindo,me tocou profundamente

@@khoanguyen1176 Im not laughing at you, I mean it depends on each person mood and feelings at the time listening to this beautiful song, it could sound dreaming beautiful lively and it also sounds so sad to me. I cried when I listened to it while I was lonely and heart broken when missing someone I would never met again though.
