    Truck campers are the only way to go in my opinion. Now tow a boat or ATV and ur so golden.

    Very nice, I have a preference towards the early model truck campers and the truck camper. I've owned motor home's travel trailers and fifth wheels and truck campers are still my favorite way to go nice work on the restoration great video.

    Very interesting - that's a miracle of compactness, carefully using every bit of space - surprising how much fits in there, even a shower and toilet, and it all fits onto the back of a pickup truck; it hardly seems possible.
    I'm in Australia, and these are scarce here, almost to the point of not existing - I have probably seen only a few on the roads in my entire life, and only one as big as this.
    How many days' water supply does it carry, and how long do the grey and black water tanks last before needing to be emptied (probably one of the least attractive aspects of using a vehicle such as this!)?

    • @nexgenmarineoutdoorstv
      @nexgenmarineoutdoorstv 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We can get 3-4 days on water. We aren’t big water wasters though and that’s with no or very minimal showering. Typically gay and black tank fill at the same rate. Dude I love Australia! I actually sold on shipped boats there from Phoenix a couple times! I’m surprised with all the backcountry you don’t see more of these

    • @michaeledwards1172
      @michaeledwards1172 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nexgenmarineoutdoorstv Well, I wonder if maybe they are to be seen more commonly in some more remote areas; maybe it's just in the areas I frequent, fairly close to the city of Melbourne, that they are barely to be seen. But I do think they are less popular here than in the U.S., despite the fact that, the last couple of years, pickup trucks (we call them utes here, short for "utility vehicle") have been the most popular of all vehicles sold.
      Have you visited Australia?

    Bought the exact same rig 2wks ago we are in Michigan I have a question about wiring it to truck… the 7 pin round that came on Lance campers are apparently discontinued how did/do you connect to truck

    • @nexgenmarineoutdoorstv
      @nexgenmarineoutdoorstv 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Mike, Please make sure to like and subscribe.
      On mine I have a standard 7 Round that you see on all modern trucks. If you don't have one you may have to have one wired in. That's the best advise I have without seeing it.

    • @jasonchadwickbrown
      @jasonchadwickbrown 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Some lance campers are still going to have a Lance style plug up on it, because they wanted to be able to sell you a specific Lance style from the dealership,. Just get you a new 7 way round male and female, and look up the wire by color code.

  • @mikemarshall4476
    @mikemarshall4476 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Who wired it from the truck you or a dealer. What was the cost, and anything you learned when getting it wired? Seems like Lance has a different wiring set-up than some others, thanks.

    • @nexgenmarineoutdoorstv
      @nexgenmarineoutdoorstv ปีที่แล้ว

      It came already with the standard 7 round when I bought it. Its pretty easy to change over though.
