Thank you for pushing through your anxiety and creating something beautiful to inspire me. I too have disabilities and I find it intimidating to color a page that I am afraid to mess up, but you have inspired me. I love the complimentary colors of the purple mushrooms and the orange/red of the flowers, they look so good together. I love this double page and yet I've held back because I don't want to make a mess of it. I'm going to make a go of it!
Take as long you want Lucy we all love your videos and colouring - I’ve done the background already in neo 2’s similar colours - can’t wait for the second part. I’m so glad you tell us about your health issues hopefully it helps look after yourself 🌼🌸 luv Chris 🇦🇺x
Thank you so much for the video. It is not looking like rubbish. I think it is really pretty. Your color choices are lovely. Can’t wait to see part 2. You take care of yourself and get some rest. Thank you again. ❤❤
I really like the way is coming along. Well done for persevering and bashing the demon of anxiety away! I often feel like that and find that as a creative you often feel exposed and laid bare with your vulnerabilities for all to see... It's not easy xx
Thank you Lucy, I so enjoy your videos! I hope Santa will bring me the full set of 150 Prismacolor pencils so I can follow along with all the lovely tutorials on TH-cam! X from Canada.
Lucy, the page is wonderful! I really appreciate the videos you do like this. I am often intimidated when trying to select what color goes with what, how to incorporate different mediums, etc, until finally I stop even trying to color at all. But I have learned so much from your tutorials and frequently find inspiration from the pages you share with us. Please keep making these types of videos, they are wonderful. Many thanks and much appreciation!
Lucy dear. your coloring is an inspiration. You are human just like the rest of us, and you can be hard on yourself. I view every page is a learning experience. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
This is beautiful. I love your color choices. Looking forward to the second part....but, please, take care of yourself first. That's the most important!❤❤❤
Oh wow purple mushrooms! Generally, I have to do them red Orange but these look amazing. I have to look tomorrow to see if I have done this page. On my way to bed 🛌😊😊
Now I really want this book just to color along. It's on my wish list for ages. I own 3 Hanna Karlzon books but I don't buy them all at once or I don't know which one to grab first LOL!
Just beautiful Lucy..thank you so much for sharing even though your trying to adjust back to your work schedule I hope things get better please don’t apologize about your anxiety I think it’s part of everyday life for most of us now. I would love to see part 2 if your feeling up to it. Take care get some rest and happy coloring
Maybe by part ii i can have the book and colors. Dont pressure yourself so much. Just breathe and have fun with us. We cant do them as fast as you do anyway... Much Love!
Absolutely loves it! Can’t wait to see part 2! I hope things get better for you at work, and you get better adjusted, I know it’s hard after being off all summer! Don’t feel bad about having anxiety or give yourself a hard time, we’re not all perfect when it comes to colouring and sometimes we don’t like what we’ve done on a page but you’re just showing everyone not to give up and to push foward!! Sending much love to you and thank you for sharing with us!!
This is stunning so far, and you blend/ colour differently to others I’ve seen, it’s good to see how everyone does things differently, and it’s more things to try 😃 I have fibromyalgia too, the exhaustion is indescribable, and it’s something you just can’t tackle, you have to go with it and sleep. At least with the pain you know how to get through it somehow, but fatigue has its own agenda! I’ve been moving my older kids to uni this past and coming week, and then having to pack up and clean the house for moving, I already feel wrecked, just trying to pace myself. Got a couple of rest days before carrying on. I totally get what you’re saying, and it’s ok to split this video up, it’s ok that it took time, and it’s ok that you needed to rest 😊❤
Oh, Lucy, I absolutely 💜💚💜 what you've done so far!!! Thank you so much for filming and sharing with us. I truly want to see your "fluff ups" and fixes as that helps me learn. I'm going to color this along with you although it will take me much longer than it's taking you. This will be my first ever double page spread. EEEEEK!!!! Thanks again for sharing your talent with us and I can't wait for part deux.......although I'm happy to wait as you need to enjoy the process too! 😉Happy Coloring!! 🎨
These pages are stunning already Lucy. Your colour choices are so pretty! Us fibro ladies understand that incredible tiredness and you really are so kind to get these video's up for us! I've been watching you from the begging of your TH-cam channel and could see that monster snapping at your heels then. 😈😈 Think of how far you've come though. Thanks Lucy you truly are appreciate.
Please show all the coloring. It’s not boring it’s calming. The ones that don’t need their hands held can fast forward ahead. I don’t care if there are 6 videos for one page. Watching you relieves my anxiety.
Thanks Lucy. Yes, break this into parts so you don't have to feel rushed. I taught school in America for 20 years. No easy task. Plus I was 35 when I started. I checked out at 56. My mom told me the sooner you retire, the longer you will live. I'm almost 85 and still going strong. Take care of yourself. Love your coloring.
I really enjoyed your video. Do it in as many parts as you need. I just subscribed. I also have fibromyalgia and a few more autoimmune problems. I can relate to anxiety and tiredness. Take care.
Hi Katherine it's wonderful to have you hear and it's good to know you are able to understand how hard it can be. I hope you continue to enjoy my channel 💓 😘
Lucy, this page is so beautiful! I love the background and the purple mushrooms. I am going to have to get these beautiful paints. The bright flowers and subtle leaves are perfect. I hope you get some rest. I am a high school teacher in the US, and I am just exhausted at the end of the day. I just turned 59, and I have around three more years before I can retire. Tired is a normal feeling for me. Don’t ever feel like you are letting us down, beautiful friend. 💕🤗
Its beautiful as always, Lucy!! I haven't done this page yet but have been wanting to so I'm going to color along with you even tho I don't have the Derwent pastel watercolor I do have other watercolors and my prisma so I'll be goving it my best shot😁 Thanks for sharing with us and I'm so excited to color this now. Take care xoxoxo💞💞
It is really stunning already, I love the bright and bold colors with the soft background and I can't wait to see how the page progresses. I feel really lucky because I do have the pastel shade and graphitint shade set of paints by Derwent, I don't have the prismacolor pencils, but I will search for similar colors in the pencil sets I do have. Please don't put yourself down, you really did excelent and it is going to be okay! I think it has to do with your tiredness, I can really get of, I am extremely tired at this moment to, my fibromyalgia is really exhausting at the moment and all of my muscles really hurt and they are tense, if I stretch my legs in bed I shoot info a kramp, that really hurts. I am so tired I often even fall asleep when I am coloring with a pencil in my hand. It is probably a combination between my fibromyalgia and because I am so tired because I have to take care of my father 24/7, but I do that with love of course. If only I could sleep better, that would help, but I am not so lucky. But enough complaining, I loved this video and I am looking forward to part 2. Have a really relaxing weekend my dear Lucy, take care, greetings Jessica 🥰😘💜
Fibro is great at giving you the guilts isn't it? But don't listen to it, and remember you can always put videos up in more than one part. We get you. I definitely do. I have fibro and parkinson's and can only post to my channel when I'm well enough to do so.
Hey Lucy just want to say I understand about the monster hiding in the background. It's not easy pushing it away. Colouring has really helped me give myself a bit if tlc, I love art especially coloured pencil art but have been away from art for a long time. Colouring gives me a gentler way to feed my passion/hobby. Anxiety is crappy and extra if you also have an underlying health condition. Although colouring with pencils which is my preferred medium, can cause pain sometimes I've adapted with pencil grips, using my tablet top easel again and regular breaks, aswell as experimenting with other mediums for undertones and back grounds We do what we can when we can and I've learnt to not put pressure on myself given I'm a self proclaimed perfectionist this can be tough. The pictures comming along lovely as always. There's no mistakes in art just happy accidents. 😊
Hello Lucy. The mushrooms are beautiful! The underneath of the mushroom is called gills. This is where the mushrooms produce spores for reproduction. Wouldn't it be lovely if there were purple mushrooms? On a somber note, my condolences to all of Great Britain in the passing of Queen Elizabeth.
Can I ask a stupid question? Why paint then cover it all up with pencil?I have these paints and I’m just curious not wanting to sound difficult I’m really interested
Hi Angela there are a couple of reasons for me but mainly that it fills the tooth of the paper. As I have pain in my hands this helps me considerably x x
@@lucyjustaddscolour-adultco3135 oh that sounds good, I’m glad it helps you. So do you find colouring on smooth paper better? There are so many different types of paper, I have a few different ones. It’s often hard to get a smooth finish on a very toothy paper so this is a good idea, thank you for answering me. I always watch your videos, not only do I learn stuff but I like to hear your voice, and I like how ‘human’ you are. I hope that makes sense to you as I can’t think of a better way to say it.
I find a grocery run or outing with the family is enough to send me to bed when I get home... As for that voice yup... Its stopped me colouring for a cpl of years...
I cannot wait for part two I am following along to this colour along !!!
This so bright and cheerful!😍💖

Hey Lucy Derwent has about 7 other paint pan pallet sets including a 12 and 24 colors of the Derwent Inktense Paint Pan Pallet sets.
I keep eyeing these pages in my book but I haven't took the plunge in starting it yet
Hi Lucy hope you have been able to rest... haven't done this page yet so doing this as a color along xxx
I’m absolutely useless with watercolour but you do an amazing job. Do these paints not lift like normal watercolours do when you reset them?
No they don't Jo they are creamy and wonderful to work with 💕
Looks great so far, will keep watching for sure. Did you have any bleed through?
No none at all Sabrina 💕
😅 Which colors can you replace the lavender and lilac colors since Prismacolor replaced them?
Hi Mary prisma have put replacement pencils out for them which are very similar x
Can I ask a stupid question? Why paint then cover it all up with pencil?I have these paints and I’m just curious not wanting to sound difficult I’m really interested
