- This piece imo is perfectly suited to 8-bit, I think this medium brings out the crisp articulations that are often missing in acoustic versions. It seems to enhance the breathless, intense feeling that this piece is full of.
Enjoy!

Outstanding! Shows Bach’s amazing compositional skills that this is so diverse
Couldn't agree more!
so great, thank you thank you.
Cheers!
Great sound!
Thanks!
You have to be kidding me. I’m actually tearing up. Again this is one of my favorite Bach Cantata movements. It’s uncanny how all your favorites seem to be mine as well. I haven’t commented on it yet, but also the opening of BWV 190 is one of my favorites and I listen to your rendition of it walking through the park all the time. Just to name a few others (and in hopes that you make a synthesized version of them), I adore the opening movements of BWV 129, 91, 62 and of course 140. I’m especially fond of the chorale fantasias. ❤
Hey man I'm so glad that there's other people out there like you who can see the genius in these pieces!
I'm actually working on versions of bwv 62 and 140 atm. I'd love to get around to all those ones you mentioned as well.
Choral fantasias = bach at his best, my fav might be the middle piece from St Matthews, O Mensch bewein Dein Sunde gross
@@dazhund3297 do you have an Instagram you’d be willing/wanting to share? I looked for it in your channel description but couldn’t find it. I’d love to connect with you more about Bach and classical music in general, and TH-cam isn’t a great place to do that since I can’t message you directly.
@@dazhund3297 I had made another comment, but it looks like it was deleted or not uploaded for some reason... I was saying I'm happy to hear you're working on BWV 62 and 140! And also that O Mensch, bewein Dein Sunde gross is naturally also one of my favorite movements from all of Bach, along with the opening chorus of the St. Matthew Passion. I used to play those pieces for my friends in college to show them my love for Bach.
Also, I'm planning to make a post on my Instagram with a one minute clip from your rendition of the Cum Sancto Spiritu from the Mass in B minor (only because that's the limit for IG), to show in a concise way the genius of Bach and why he is my god.
@GrantusGreenwood yeah man I don't use insta much but I've got an account, I'll give you a follow
@GrantusGreenwood Amazing man thanks so much! Agreed, opening chorus of SMP is the peak of all music, ever
Sir, I was wondering when and why you started listening to Bach and classical music in general and how you find all these pieces.
Hey bro, yeah idk I guess I was exposed a bit when I was a kid, but then just after highschool I heard the saint Matthew's passion live and then something clicked and ever since then I can't get enough Bach
At one point there I went a little crazy and listened to all the Bach I could find, and then that led me into other classical works
not the first time the st matthew passion has done that. this was my experience as well
@@edward_jacobs There you go! There's something otherworldly about it
