Aloha nui family. Thanks for sharing your videos & your love for island life. It’s getting very crowded nowadays on my island, O’ahu. But I still love it here but would love to travel to other islands in the pacific. Your island reminds me of the island my cuzzinz live on, Molokai. Mahalo nui, family.

@@LifeOnTheRockNiueIsland ok because I looked up some information and there’s some similarities with Chamorro ancient languages, like the Chamorro numbers some are the same and similar.
And I’ve always wondered if the Chamorro people actually came from other parts and sailed and migrated to different places long long time, some say we part of Micronesia but when comparing languages, we more similarities to Polynesian languages than Micronesian. Just find it interesting 🤔 of where we came from lol

I miss cooking the imu style 🤙🏼
What a great feast! Can I ask, why do you cook the rolls of pandanus?
Favorite Poly chann3l from today
Man, time is moving some people on this video have aged unreal awesome food I’m graving island food
Get it ✊🏼🤙🏼
In my opinion, I think the foil is preventing the umu flavours from the stones and wood infusing into the food.
Been awhile since I seen an Umu being put down, making me hungry 🌺🌴🌱🏝🥬
What is the culture/language spoken there
Niue language and English

Wow...that's really interesting. I will have to now look up about the Chamorro people. I have heard of the Chamorro but don't know much else.
@@LifeOnTheRockNiueIsland like our number 5 Lima for numbers are the exact same. Our Number 7 is fiti, while yours is fitu
