I love how Robert is so serious about his work without being rude about it, he loves his fans and it shows, but for him to be so serious about his character is so nice to see, and he doesnt imitate him outside of the show just for the fun of it
It WAS Belle's plan. After her adventure with Anna, she tells her father she's read about Rumplestiltskin. The way I imagine it, she read a history book about how he ended the Ogres War. She also opens the letter of appeal to him, and that's why he wants her as reward for this deal.
Kressel Housman I agree with you but I also think that when belle wrote the letter and when rumple proposed the deal neither consciously knew they had feelings for each other. It wasn’t love at first sight that’s kind of the point.
When he says "I shall have her" I'm thinking "how can you make something sound so sexy but so creepy at the same time?!" 🤣. Rumbelle is my OTP for Once. Robert Carlyle and Emilie de Ravin are both such wonderful actors and I love their on screen chemistry and off screen friendship, it is au endearing and when they tell that BTS story about the dance, I cry, it is so beautiful! 😍
Skin Deep should’ve won awards. Brilliant. When they said they did that quite well, my heart ❤ they’re so giggly and happy together. Omg when Belle sent Rumple over the line it was soooo sad. But I’m glad she stood up for herself. When he said she was brilliant 🥹 they are so cute together. Edit: that is SO interesting that they were considering doing a backstory of where Rumple had seen Belle and had her in mind for something.
They have good chemistry. For their "Real World" scenes, it did take me a bit to get used to the age difference but once I did, I was invested. Maybe one day they'll do another movie or show together.
They have such great compatibility and chemistry together. My favorite couple in the show. Because it was just beautiful how she always saw the good in him which made him see the good in himself, as well as the internal battle going on between his love of power and his love of her. And in the end he was the hero that saved everyone and everything, to unexpectedly find that he’s made it home to be with her forever. If not for her love, he would have stayed as evil as wish Rumple was. But it was not a couple that was for sure; it was touch and go for a long time in whether it would work out. And Robert Carlyle’s acting was just brilliant in the role of Rumple. Also they seem to be having great fun here and clearly get on well with each other in real life. But They made “magic” on the screen 😌
Yeah they’re my favorite couple too. So many other characters had other loved ones but they only had each other. They were kind of estranged from the rest of Henry’s family but it didn’t matter because all they needed was each other
For Rumple finding Belle specifically in the 300 years he's been alive. I was thinking that since he can see the future from when he stole that power from the Seer. What if he saw her in the future and that was how he found her, since he did show up our of no where to help with the Ogre problem they were having and what if he didn't want to have to find Bae in the world without magic by himself? Or he was tired of being alone and didn't want to be the beast anymore. Maybe he wanted someone to fix him in a sense?

rumple did spot her before belle met him, it was "family business" s4 episode. belle met him through anna, and thats how rumple knew of her....no wait. rumple spotted anna. it was ingrid who took anna away from belle. so the other way around, belles dad maurice knew of rumple, and they made a deal he would help their kingdom, at the same time. belle had just met gaston and was engaged to him. even after the baby ogre killing. see, even i rmmbr rumbelle episodes. just not everybody elses .....theyre my OTP until i die. Lol case and point, nonetheless remilie were y i watchd ouat 🤣
