It took me a while to figure out how to play ReCore on PC. I thought this video would help you guys out!
What you will need to get full functionality of the Xbox Live Play Anywhere Program.
1. Valid Xbox Live Account
2. DIGITAL copy of the game via the Xbox or Windows Store
3. The Windows 10 Anniversary Update is required

You actually DO NOT have to pay for Xbox Live Gold to play Xbox Anywhere games. You just need a valid Xbox Live account. Just thought i would clear that up.
what? no. You don't need to pay for the games you have on Xbox one cuz you already purchased them. You can just install the game you bought digitally in Xbox straight off the bat. But the other games that you don't have yet on Xbox Anywhere, you still have to pay for them.

The Anniversary Update will appear as, Feature update to Windows 10, version 1607.

Go to settings, storage, games and apps, and click on it and it will give you an option to uninstall

for people on PC you cna jsut buy it on windows store, you dont need an xbox or xbox account, however if you buy it on the xbox , then you you just sign into the xbox app, let it sync and it will be available to download from the windows store.

maybe you cant download it off the website anymore and it automatically comes with your windows 10 idk
just go settings, and go to updates and security, and then there you will see an update coming. If it says nothing then maybe you already updated your PC

You do howerver need gold to be able to play the games (that allow it) online, offline and campaigns it's not needed

Yes if you buy Forza Horizon 4 or 3 on xbox or Microsoft store its available on both right away

If it is compatible and it sais so on the Microsoft website
download the xbox app on your pc, sync it with your pc, and search the game on the windows store. if you have a digital copy on your xbox than it should be free if your pc is synced with your xbox account

I have a question I have a built pc and an xbox one my friends are always hounding me about getting a ps4 to play with them... what I want to ask is can I essentially get rid of my xbox and buy a ps4 and still be able to play my xbox exclusive through my pc? that way I can get the best of all three worlds.

You don't need an XBOX to ONLY play on PC, just buy the game off the Windows Store.

Do i need to log into the windows 10 store with my xbox live account or just on the xbox app? The emai on my pc and xbox are different. Recore only has the buy option instead of the install option in the windows store.
In most if not all xbox games you don't have the option to change the graphics settings so does it install the pc version so that way you can change the graphics or not because I don't want to play with xbox 360 graphics in far cry 3

Can you have multiple accounts for Xbox Play Anywhere? On the console, you can have a single copy of the game and share it with siblings so that everyone can have their own profile. Can you do that with the PC version too?

I just bought the game off the store app on my Xbox One S this morning and I have the latest version of windows. There are 2 versions, Xbox One, and Windows 10. The Windows 10 one says 'buy' and the other says 'install on my devices' but when I click on that it only shows up Xboxs' that I have signed into and didn't delete my account from. My PC isn't listed on this list. EDIT- I have already played the game on my Xbox.

Anyone else still stuck on this ?. I'm on a higher update then the windows 10 anniversary and I can't find the downgrade so to speak anywhere to install the anniversary update. I bought forza H3 a while back on my Xbox one and really want to play it on my gaming pc but it's not showing anywhere, not in my Microsoft library not in my Xbox app library when I go to find the game there is only an option to purchase it... I'm not buying it twice.

Ok good question. Does this "Xbox play program" let me play my Xbox games? Example: Halo 5 guardians, Batman arkham knight, Star Wars battlefront, Dragon ball xenoverse 1 & 2, overwatch, quantum break. Will they let me play all that physical disc or do I need to buy the game on digital mode because to me it kinda sounds weird.

My Xbox app for windows hasn't been working for sometime now and so i was debating on backing up my PC and then factory "hard" rebooting/resetting my PC to see if that would work or getting this update and seeing if that fixes the problem.

So upon trying to figure this out. I ended up with no choice but to get and external hard drive and back up my PC. Then to factory reset my pc through the settings. Now my xbox companion app is working again on windows 10. Just an update to y'all. 😁
