Dang smh the rebuilds are lil expensive to do but worth it. 2015- 2017 seems to have the most issues with transmission. Also it can be low or dirty rear differential oil that can cause transmission issues too.
I'd love to nab a police car, and think a Tahoe is where it's at. Do they have issues with flattening cams like the hemis? I haven't heard about LS Caprices or SUVs losing the cam, but would really rather not deal with that...
@unmarkedpursuitvehicles2up584 absolutely. Drove my 2019 Tahoe from Edmonton to Whitehorse back in mid January. 21hrs, 2000+km, -38°C. Solid vehicle for the trip.!!!
Trip to the junkyard and the entire interior will be like new I have a 09 that has chrome center caps for 8k and it has 8 pass onyx leather with center console which has rubber mat with all leather I love it and it's very good for the 45mph j turns in reverse or 45 mph u turns 😂 I don't drive it like that but I was just trying to make sure they didn't lie about the features I got my truck with a carfax and it's always been a FL truck was fhp in ft Lauderdale has a rebuilt transmission and the 6l90 converter with a new rear-end so long tube stainless headers magnaflow catback was 37 dollars in polished stainless and they have the double wall tips that are just a little bit wider than the spare tire and it sounds great kind of the way corvette is soft and very loud if you have your right foot in it 😂
Yea I still have mines. If you can try to get one that’s not a city or sheriff vehicle. The state police sometimes have some good ones. Also try to get one with low idle hours too. As for as problems all of them can have water pump issues that is expensive. The 3.5 is known to have turbo issues as well. Be sure to change the differential oil too because that can cause issues too. Either than it is a dependable car and hope you enjoy it.
Don’t put Eagle RS-A’s on it. Worst tire Goodyear ever made. If you HAVE to have pursuit tires, the Firehawks are the better option. But the best option is anything meant for civilian SUV’s. They’ll ride much nicer and are easier to find. Just get the speedometer adjusted for the size.
@@unmarkedpursuitvehicles2up584 Like I said, they’re terrible tires. They have poor dry grip, even worse wet grip, and they don’t last long. They don’t do anything well
