BTS doesn't use "backup dancers" like most other music acts. They use "dancers". Backup dancers are props, used to fill up a space. Remove them and the show goes on. On the other hand Dancers are an integral part of the choreo. Remove them and it won't work. No disrespect meant for backup dancers, im just trying to explain that BTS doesn't add elements into their performances superficially. Any additions, adds to the performance. BTS also refer to the dancers as "dancers", never "backup dancers". BTS acknowledged their value, we should do too

All the members except V (Kim Taehyung) posted this morning when they were leaving South Korea. On Twitter you can find things like messages from the UN itself, about their upcoming appearance. They will also be participating in a live multi-artist concert in New York City that is intended to raise people's spirits around the world, and raise funds too probably. Jimmy Fallon has teased a possible appearance on The Tonight Show. I don't know if that'll actually happen. After their remix with Megan, we were all hoping they would come early enough to be on the VMAs and perform with her. But they could not travel for the VMAs, as that would have conflicted with when they were commissioned by their President. These guys are good-hearted people, and they get serious respect from a lot of people around the world. So yeah, taking over. Yet they were sleeping in one room with seven beds just eight years ago.
