- Here's another bunch of random clips from Arthur that I find funny or are just weird. This will probably be the last out of context video I do for Arthur, I might do some out of context videos for other shows in the future.

Time sure does fly… I loved watching Arthur as a kid, especially when I stayed home from school. Now I Can’t wait to rewatch these with my daughter.
I feel the same way, but I’ll only show my kids these versions of Arthur not the new animation ones, they feel lifeless
You can sure say that again now that the show is finished
my younger siblings were born after i stopped watching arthur, you can bet im making them watch all these old episodes with me (responsible older sibloing things)
As long as you show the old seasons. The new seasons are woke trash.
I like the old classic episodes of Arthur they are my favorites
5:45 It's so surreal how a show like this has this one specific moment of wacky, overexaggerated animation when the whole rest of the show doesn't do anything like that. It kinda makes me wish the older seasons had more moments like this.

In all fairness Mrs turner is close friends with Mr Ratburn she was probably well aware of the coming wedding. She also knows his handwriting and that he wouldn’t make so many grammatical or spelling errors

The weird thing about seeing compilations like this is that I remember basically all of the moments but almost none of the context. I watched plenty of this show as a kid and have probably seen all the older seasons, but not quite enough of it stuck with me for me to remember full episode plots.
I have the opposite occur. I didnt remember most of the show until seeing these compilation clips and I suddenly remember a lot of the context. Its like unearthing a huge section of my mind that hasnt been dusted off in what feels like eons
The sad part is that I was quoting so many of these clips as they came along- especially the songs 😅

The clip with the ducks at 1:58 almost has the exact same vibe as that scene in the lifeguard episode of SpongeBob where he lies about there being sharks in the water, which then cuts to a family of offended anthropomorphic sharks.
It can be a challenge deciding on what characters should and shouldn’t have human-esque qualities when making a show where everyone is an animal.

There's a few terrible ones but yeah the show is overall really solid

I have maybe one legitimate memory of watching this show as a kid. I think it's better not knowing the context now as an adult.
All these videos on shows saying "out of context" and they usually makes sense to me, even if I don't know what's happening exactly. That song with adult Francine and Mollie, though...I had to pause that one.
If I remember right, Muffy and Francine wanted their older siblings to get married to each other so that Muffy and Francine could be related.
