    I am designing my own compost toilet and every thing around It, to be built as soon as the project gets to the point!
    I have this piece of land in Minas Gerais, Brasil, and I wish you were here Miguel! To work together and get dreams done ✨🔥❤️💦

    Can you build these kind of structures in cold and wet climates? Most videos seem to showcase builds in the desert.

      you wrote this 16 hrs ahead of me, I just came here from the UK :) and wanted to ask the same question. Discovered Miguel's cobins a few moths ago and in love with them, I want to know how to make them work in the rainy England... However, in some old videos I saw someone asking that question and he replied positively, although I no longer remember the exact words.

      Sure you can, no problem! If you are building it during the rainy season you can build the roof first with a good overhang. I have built many of these in cold wet climates without any problems

    Any special coatings for a shower considering the amount of water it's exposed to?

    • @cobalot9
      @cobalot9  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, I used a.lime.tadelak which was 4 coats.and a final coat of beeswax

      @cobalot9 thank you! About to break ground on a pallet/cob composting toilet/ shower house. I lucked out with 70/30 dirt on my 20 acres. Not to mention unlimited free pallets. So glad I found your channel! Happy days to you and yours!

    Have you thought about using recycled styrofoam in those plastic bottles to give a bit more insulation in these cobins?

    • @cobalot9
      @cobalot9  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I have often insulated my structures with foam and plastic

    I mix paper pulp into my cob it makes a much more waterproof material.
