- Welcome to our latest TH-cam video where we dive into the intriguing decision-making process of students when it comes to choosing between foreign-affiliated colleges and traditional ones, particularly those under Tribhuvan University (TU).
We will navigate through a spectrum of factors that play a vital role in this decision-making journey. Starting with an overview of universities, we'll explore the academic and global reputation of degrees, the technological enhancement of faculties, and the associated costs and student numbers. Unpacking the facilities and perks offered by these institutions, such as cultural diversity, well-maintained connections, post-study opportunities, and internships, we have analyzed how these aspects influence decisions. We'll also scrutinize the admission process and criteria, evaluate its flexibility, and explore the impact of government and political party influence on these choices. Not forgetting TU's commitment to quality education, we will assess its competitiveness in providing a future-compatible curriculum. As we wrap up, stay tuned for our insights and proposed solutions to make this decision-making process more informed and seamless for aspiring students. Join the conversation and share your thoughts on why students make the choices they do!

I started my BCA course (TU affiliated) from 2018 and i got graduated just a few weeks ago. From 2018 to 2024, It took 6 fu**king years to complete my bachelors. Cannot blame the covid because, my friends who started bachelors at the same time, but in different universities (besides TU and other bideshi university affiliated) finished their exams a year ago. Also, i have a back paper and i gotta wait 10-12 months before my result finally publishes. The transcript process is equally torturous. Delayed exams. I studied IT course from the university (TU) whose website keeps getting hacked and nobody bothers to find a permanent fix for it. People are educated but barely skilled. No wonder we lack behind in every aspect. I do not want to stay in the country.
TU found it easier to assess students on rote learning than on deep understanding. To assess students on deep understanding the evaluators themselves need to possess deep understanding of cognitive behaviour of human brain and subject matter. Even if TU wanted to shift itself from traditional approach to modern it neither has manpower nor the confidence to do so.
Content Quantity is good
I feel the same
Due to valuation,I have choosed Tu over other but I feel the same problem you discussed
There should be seperate board for affiliation and enhancement of universities.
