I love Faramir and Boromir. But I love Faramir more. His life is such a sad story. Hated by his father because his mother died giving birth to him and he reminded his father of his mother. Boromir is a very brave guy, but Faramir is very sensitive and kinglike. I think the actors look a lot alike too. They could be family
Apprently you love Faramir so much that you invented a new background story for him. His mother didnt die giving birth to him?! Denethor favoured Boromir over Faramir because of their personality, Boromirs being the eldest son and most importantly, because of Faramirs relationship to Gandalf. Bormoir is also extremely sensitive and "kinglike". How can you be wrong about everything and noone corrected you for 9 years.
@@nostalji93 I really love the way Boromir is a realistic person with faults and shortcomings unlike many men in the books. He is a realistic hero wanting only the best for his land and is prepared to do almost anything for it.
@@Anguloke355 That are good reasons to like the character. Mature ones. How old where you when you first watched lotr? I think most people judge Boromir before they understand him. Compared to Aragorn who we meet first Boromirs character "flaws" are on full display. I assume this is the reason why most judge him harshly. His qualities are shown a lot more suttle. Like his relationship to the Hobbits or his pure intentions of protecting his people, his loyality. One of my fav LotR scenes is the one where Galadriel looks in Boromirs eyes/mind. First she looks at him judgemental, but she immidiantly recognizes his fears, pain and pure intentions and she looks at him careing and with pity. Cate Blanchetts Performance there is incredbile!
I feel sad for Boromir. For all his fathers evil, for all his brothers hurt he was as good a person as he could be. But the ring stole that away in whispers and lies. It really did drive him mad.....
I was crying like a baby when Boromir died ,when I first saw the movie but then I loved Faramir even more...so sweet and brave and not loved by his father. this video is truly amazing and the song covers it all. well done, it's excellent!
I love the tiny glimpse of their relationship that we get to see in the films. And even then you can tell it goes far deeper than can be portrayed in such a short time. Loved this it's a great tribute to both of them :)
Omg so touchable sensitive, I'm addicted to Faramir. Goooood he's soooo noble, and perfect play of an actor, Wenham is very sexy here, ohhhh how I wish to be with him, thx to the editor - such a tears-explosive video incredible match of a song video and those scenes! The best video ever!
Beautiful. Love these two. Very touching video - saved to favourites! Thought David wenham's depiction of faramir was spot on - very subtle and moving. Didn't notice movie, but on this you can see the tears in his eyes when his father tells him he wishes he died instead of boromir.
It's a rare video that makes me ACTUALLY cry. Rewatching, and this video makes that shortlist...AGAIN. Fantastic job! Especially with masterful interpretation of a song that's hard to put in any other context than an animated movie about a horse :) Liked + Bookmarked.
Of course you likely meant for it to be like that, but I can't help saying that I love how many interpretations, comparisons, and general meaning is in this video. Every time I watch it, I can find and think (or cry) about something else. Both of the characters are great of course, so is the editing and the song! Perfect video! Really.
WOW ISABEL! That was so beautiful and amazing! I haven't seen LOTR in ages but you're making me want to go watch them again they're amazing and you showed the relationship between Faramire and Boromir beautifully and a perfect song! The audio scenes you used were PERFECT AND CLEVERLY USED well done!
*____________* Faramir, Boromir, fantabulous parallels and your emotional editing at its very best…gawwwwww I’m too stunned for a proper comment right now
I wish there was some more flashbacks of Boromir&Faramir in the movie, they are both wonderful characters. Btw Boromir&Faramir kinda reminds me of Jaime&Tyrion, Boromir/Jaime the golden son and Faramir/Tyrion the despised son
In terms of party relationship Boromir was more close to Pippin and Merry than Frodo and Sam whereas Faramir is the opposite since he met Frodo and Sam first. To me it seems Frodo and Sam seems to hate every new people they meet even Merry and Pippin, only person they trust is Gandalf like c'mon why can't they be friendly and joyful like Merry and Pippin.
Found it! Spirit! The disney movie Spirit! Funny how Different the same song is though. Watching your vid I could almost cry. But when I listed to Spirit, It always seemed inspirational. Not sure which I like better...
@Valkoinenhai Thank you ;D Well, I usually react to the first comments, it feels strange answering some but not answering others, but I read every single one :)

That's good cause Boromir is mine. 😂
@@debbie4503 Do you actually like the character more? Or is just Sean Bean? :D
If its the character Id love to hear why!

Boromir is the most awesome character from lotr. Too bad he died in the first one...
"I would have followed you, my brother. My captain. My king."
No matter how many times i watch these movies that scene always gives me the chills

This takes me back to my Lord of the Rings-obsession days.
Excellent song!
My two favorite characters from the movie-I think one of the most touching relationships of literary history!
For Gondor!

This is certainly one of the best LOTR vids I've ever seen. Very intense and moving, a perfect depiction of Boromir and Faramir's brotherly love.
Ok. These fan videos (I love but) are usually almost embarrassingly lame. This one was really well done!
Faramir makes us feel sorry that he had to suffer so much despite striving to fight only for the good. His own father hated him .

I pitched the song out of certain reasons... That's why it sounds different, but I actually took the song from the soundtrack :)

Ohhh and these epic Faramir's words just soo touching and I'm crying now :(
WOAH, I am just STUNNED. This is beyond amazing.
oooh, this is so lovely
From the first time I saw the films, I thought the two actors looked a lot alike! I love their blue eyes! Blue is my favorite color.
My father/mother loved. My brother more than than me, he was always better more man than me. I can't live get over that, ever. R.IP Danny
very beautiful video *__* and the song fits for them so well. i really like them both.
I wish there was some more flashbacks of Boromir&Faramir in the movie, they are both wonderful characters.

I have so much love for this vid! It's so beautiful and haunting. I love the song and your editing to it is amazing. Favourited!
I think it's good that the actors themselves see Boromir and Faramir similar
Thats beautiful ♥ love the song and of course lotr ;)
Tears
That's really all I can say right now
So moving! It touched my heart!
Emotional, moving, touching, wonderful! Great job!
I am in love with your video! It brought tears to my eyes :)
I loved watching Faramir ❤
Oh blast... What a wonderful video! And this song... This is briliant, my dear

This is absolutely stunning!
that's why I loved their story in the book so much better- they have way more scenes together.
This is so cute!
This is very well done video!
This is very good! I am so sad and I cryed but the video is very good!
2:22: "Yes, I wish that." Denathor, you evil old bastard.
Beautiful Video and Song. 😍🤗

@00ArwenUndomiel00 Totally! They have so few clips and only one scene together! I really wish there was more with them. Thank you :)
really well done!

Amazing vid though!
