One thing BCCI can do for other sports is whenever they are planning to build a cricket stadium, rather than just built a cricket stadium they can build a whole sporting complex which may include 5-6 other sports infrastructure.

I'm new to football. I've noticed that football matches are not interrupted by rain unlike cricket. I've watched some matches being played in the rain and on a wet outfield. Why is that so? Help me understand as I'm new to the game. However I've been following cricket since 2005.
By the way baba the Korajhar stadium which hosted the RUFC match is a SAI facility which never host a single state level competition before it's situated in the Bodoland autonomus region which is a tribal area and don't even have a state league club so the facility at other regular football hosting venues might not be worldclass are much better than this.

I've been cricket fan since 2003 WC and football fan since 2010 QF exit of Chelsea....and you can love both sports equally 🙌 and biggest drawback is last year India T20 wc me haar gaya, mumbai indians IPL semis me haar gayi and chelsea toh 😵💫too much trauma 😂

Cricket is the best. The quality of a game is judged based on its flexibility. We humans are born with different talents.
Cricket encourages wider range of talents than football. Football only encourages limited talents. Football's talents basically had to do with the quickness of the feet and kicking the ball.
In cricket, one can be a batsman (either left handed or right handed). As for bowlers in cricket, there are different types of bowling. One can be fast bowlers (either left handed or right handed), spin bowlers (either left handed or right handed), etc. Some people are excellent fielders while there are others who are excellent wicket keepers. So cricket encourages wider range of talents.
In cricket, one can also place a runner if one has difficulty in running while batting. I remember a kid who couldn't play football since he had difficulty in running. But he was an excellent batsman and he had a runner running for him.

The main reason is that in our society mostly children's were expected to prioritise studies "only " and between them somehow only one sports has grown up which has money and which is also very difficult to get into i totally respect studies every one should get education but people must not go through this peer pressure they should be free of choosing sport which also built intrest in ourselves to watch other sport's and it will also help in growing india in different different fields
