I live in rohini (delhi) and i can tell DELHI POLICE IS THE WORST. Delhi's Government doesn't pay attention on making their system strong. They only spend GOVERNMENT'S money on posters and stupid songs for elections.
I'm saying this because I've experienced some sh*t too. I was getting threatened on call. And i didn't even know who was that person. Obviously it's a terrifying thing for anyone specifically for a woman. I went to police station and firstly they didn't even listen to me but my mother's friend is NGO owner and she is well known person she had contacts in police and she appealed for me to the S.H.O and then he listened to me and he shrugged it off by saying "ye number yaha ka hai hi nhi Kolkata ka hai toh aap cyber crime ke headquarters me ja kar complaint karo hum kuch nhi kar sakte"
After hearing all those negative things about Delhi police, I'm considering moving to Dubai. I'm only 17, so I have enough time to save up.
Delhi is a union territory so the control of police is not under the delhi state government but in the direct control of central government of India

wrong I got a threat from a local Gunda and I complain to 100 then a woman take my call I tell him everything then she cut the phone and after 2 minutes I got call from my area police station and I constable take complaint and then he told me to go in area local chowki then a constable solve my case now i am safe

Its very gory and horrific death for the girl Anjali (RIP), but the case is not as complicated as media is making it to be. These 5 morons simply hit and after the accident tried to run over the girl and kill her on the spot as the area was deserted with no one around, choosing convenience over humanity. Sadly, the girl got stuck beneath the car in a rare fashion, which caused her a much much more horrific and painful death. These guys probably were not initially aware that body got stuck beneath their car (as road had lot of bumps and potholes) and these guys were in intoxicated state, but later after driving around for so much time and kms, they saw hand of the girl from the window and realized girl's body is stuck under their car. Then they tried to get rid of the body and making u-turns etc. What they are saying to the police is partial truth, they didn't tell that they deliberately tried to run over the girl and intention was to kill her on the spot. That so called friend girl Nidhi who was indifferent and unconcerned about her friend is also speaking partial truth. I think she is into some shady business and does not want that to come out, that thing might not be related to this horrific incident. In my opinion, this is what most probably happened.

If the drivers didn't know that they were carrying a dead body underneath, there is only one possibility, they picked up a body that was already lying dead or unconscious on the street.
