Boy 2019-2020 Kings compared to 2018-2019 Kings are not even the same team. Luke Walton single-handedly made this team significantly worse all around. The hustle and the hunger and the excitement is no longer there. They went from a young team finding their way to a young team with no sense of direction. I’m sensing another rebuild process if the Kings don’t clean house and gut the roster to save Fox. They got good elements mixed with the bad elements. Coaching staff and the FO needs to go first, then gut the roster for FA/Cap Space and then set up for trades for draft picks more than player pick ups. Kings need all-around players, especially in that 4/5 position and need coaches that can get them to run a proper offense around Fox instead of this iso ball that Luke got going. Fast Break offense and crashing the board should be the Kings strong suits but this year it’s the total opposite. If major changes don’t happen by the end of the trade period in 2021, the Kings are going to face mediocracy for an extended period of time. They missed out on countless of players like Jimmy Butler, Klay Thompson, C.J. McCollum, Jayson Tatum, Luka Doncic, etc and missed out on giving Mike Malone, George Karl (unfair because they didn’t have a great PG to run the floor), and Dave Joerger the opportunities they deserved. If the Kings give Luke Walton a better opportunity over those guys then the Kings deserves what’s coming. Time is of the essence.
If you're a kings, you knew when they traded shumpert, the atmosphere changed and their culture. They played worst after that 😥
Coach needs to give Troy Williams more minutes off the bench. That boy has potential and can give buckets comin from the bench!
