I have 3 22v 130 watt panels and the panels are wired in series for 66v into a MPPT charge controller into 3 100 amp hr lithium batteries and it works great. There on top of my Chevy Express Van permanently. If you have room on top of your Van, that's where should be. I tried portable panels at one time and it didn't work out, too much time setting them up.
Hello. Thanks for reaching out. Sounds like a nice system. I’ve considered solar on the roof but I’m trying to keep my van in shade during the hot summer, and solar panels in the sun. I’m still experimenting. I might do both. I always have the generator option when battery is low too. Thanks Cheers
