I'm argentinian, born here but lived in England for a couple years, during my teens. I later came back to my native country. First day in my history class in Manchester (back in 2014) my history teacher drilled me about being a Kirchner supporter (which I'm not) and also forced me 'in order to catch up with my British classmates' to give an oral presentation on who should be sovereign over The Malvinas. Smh, it trully was a way to try to shame me, but it also made me so much more educated over the issue.
My mum was born in Argentina, but my granda (who fought in WW2) was English, and my granny Scottish. Both of them lived here, and till their death, they said that The Malvinas are Argentinian. I'll always stand with what they said, and also with what I have learned and now come to believe, until my death as well. Las islas Malvinas fueron, son y serán argentinas
