What size should the "existing hole" be? How deep? Must be nice to live in a world where the old holes fit those floor plugs perfectly. What color is the sky there?
the instructions say that if no hole exists, use a 3/4" diameter drill bit and drill a hole that is 7/8" to 1" deep.
