- In this video I design, 3d print and cast a bronze ferrule before finishing up the spear shaft. We see the finished spear and test it out as well. Hope you enjoy and leave a comment down below on how you think it turned out.

Let me know how you think it turned out below.
it's good looking. seems badly balanced. dont pole or stab, slash the target. straihten the dowel and make it flaring.
A spear is a stabbing weapon, not slashing.
ive got a slightly rescaled version of the spearhead printing right now, thanks for publishing it. Is the ferrule STL posted anywhere? this is a great build.
Thanks Emily! You can download the ferrule here www.thingiverse.com/thing:5818135
@@RealProjectTube thanks a ton! looking forward to casting my own!
Great and instructive video.
Did you cast the spearhead ? Any videos ?
BTW: the spearhead original dates back from 800-1200 BC and was found as part of the Selbourne-Blackmoore hoard find in Wolmer Forest (England). So, you are reproducing a 2800 to 3200 year old weapon. In my view one of the finest specimens of bronze age spearhead. Bravo.

Really cool vid, I've been looking for something like this for a while, on a side note I have that watch
The Hamilton? I like that watch 👍
@@RealProjectTube me 2 I got it for Christmas last year
Did you work harden do bronze, or is that just something you do to blades?
Looks great by though, I'm going to give it a go.
You can definitely work hard bronze. I didn't do it on the spear this time as it was my first time working with bronze.
Looks great!
