true ive worked in service alot too. theres nothing you can do. but also if you look into it, more often times, its not even that the person is unhappy. its that situations like this _make them_ happy. they, like many weak people, desire power and control. and derive pleasure from it. the way retail stores and service is set up in america, along with the culture norms surrounding it, gives all the power to the customer. it intentionally places the customer on a pedestal to attempt to garner more purchases and business (and therefore profit) at any means possible. this stems from corporations holding policies for decades now that train their service workers to very clearly think and act as "the customer is always right". and given the power and control and widespread influence corporations are allowed in america, that makes these business practices normalized and influences many smaller businesses to do the same. this all causes the customer to become accustomed and used to this treatment in service/retail and come to expect it in every business. even the businesses who dont want to hold this stupid policy and practice, feel forced into it, and customers will complain in general for a business not training their service workers under this practice of "the customer always right" and treating them respectfully and softly no matter what. this gives privilege and power inherently, like i mentioned, to the customer in all cases. *and american customers know it.* so over time its developed this class of people who intentionally seek out to exploit this differential; people who already desire power/control and get pleasure from it. this group of people would have had to get their power fix somewhere else, or tame it. but in our decaying american culture it allows and enables this to happen. so these people come into retail or service based businesses and make demands, complaints, raise problems, and get the workers to do extra things for them. all things that the worker must comply to customer for, like a follower to a leader. they generally just 'keep the worker under their foot' per say. so anything that can grant them that feeling and they can get away with in a retail environment, they will do.

And I’m sick and tired of boomer bashing or there lots of cranky old people where you are? I never felt like I was owed anything from anyone. Doesn’t matter what generation you belong to, they all have the same demographic, the good, the bad and the ugly 😘
Back in the day when I had three kids (I still am a parent, but they’re all adults now) I would have my husband stay home while I took all three kiddos Xmas tree shopping with me. I’m not a haggler, but I’d ask whoever was helping us on the lot if they would assist in finding a nice tree within the budget I had that year. I didn’t do any sob story and didn’t ask my kids to put on any poor us act. The tree wranglers always gave us a great tree under my budget
You see the problem is that Warren just deserves more than everyone else. I mean he doesn't have kids to feed and bought his extremely nice house for 2 eggs and a banana but he deserves it because...... He is old?
@ Two eggs and a banana? But when you adjust for what it would cost now it’s a whole carton of eggs and pink pineapple. Still too much for me to afford. Poor Warren. He’s entitled to tell us his opinion

no boomer would ever go through the effort to buy a christmas tree. They are way too lazy. They'd either use the same fake tree every year or they would try to "skip christmas"

Once again, Warren has a legitimate complaint. Only one Christmas tree lot within 30 miles of his house? That's un-American. And this young generation wishing people Happy Holidays? He's rightfully livid. Warren should get Barbara involved ...

I'm so sick and tired of boomers thinking that they are owed your respect simply because they're old. Respect is earned. It doesn't matter how old you are. If you're an asshole, then you deserve to be treated like the asshole that you are. Simple as that. And the fact that they are so spoiled from growing up in the most prosperous era in history makes it even more infuriating.
I respect everyone until and unless they show they don’t deserve it.
At 70. I totally agree. Respect is earned from 5-eternity
And I’m sick and tired of boomer bashing or there lots of cranky old people where you are? I never felt like I was owed anything from anyone. Doesn’t matter what generation you belong to, they all have the same demographic, the good, the bad and the ugly 😘
You can tell it’s accurate when he severely misunderstands the constitution but quotes it like he’s a constitutional scholar
I actually feel more sorry for him than annoyed. Choosing a tree should be fun and festive. Instead he's grumpy and unhappy.
1:21 damn I was waiting for the classic beat to drop 😩
Here with one view glad to get here when the silly is fresh
Who doesn't love fresh silly?
@@andyk192 :D
No offense to slappable jerk, but the lighting at the tree farm gave him an extra boomer-y look to his face and sold it even more 😅
This has gotta be one of your best videos in a long time. All the little things were so well done.
When Warren said the tree was gonna burst into flames, was he really just refering to himself once he got home?
Oh Warren… never seems to grasp that he is not the arbiter of truth
They didn't come with the ornaments? This is outrageous! I mean, can't they help out an old man by lending some damn decorations?
*That damned smarmy expression gets me every time. And the walk!*
The waddle of entitlement. A classic
He probably paid $5 and still had it delivered.
That was painful. Well done, sir.
"now as a reasonable person,"
Er... could I just say, please, that not ALL boomers are like this - well not here in England, anyway. I'm 80 and I thoroughly enjoy life!
Well, if that one TH-camr I watch that does skits on working in Tesco are anything to go by, England has boomers like this too it seems.
To be fair, I’m 90% sure if you’re 80 you’re just past the Baby Boomer threshold. Boomers max at like 75-78.
@@rumpeltyltskyn Wow, that puts my husband and me out of the boomer threshold. Thanks!
♥️
"This diseased tinder box."🤣🤣🤣
I always refuse service to people who talk to me like this. I won't stand for it. Shows how good you are at acting these out!!!
I love how he says there's so many issues he doesn't know where to start but the only problem is that his tree is smaller than he expected
"i raised hell" is so nostalgic of my grandfather when it came to calling people
It is objectively superior to "crashing out".
Once again i had to constantly remind myself you are just acting. Thanks for ruining my mood, it was a pleasure as always
He told me it would be cheaper not smaller😂
That walk 😂. And that slow talk 🙄
This is one of your best characters. Happy holidays to you and your family
Wow, tense within a minute, good work
🤣
He is old?
@
Two eggs and a banana? But when you adjust for what it would cost now it’s a whole carton of eggs and pink pineapple. Still too much for me to afford. Poor Warren. He’s entitled to tell us his opinion
As someone who has worked with the public in various customer service based positions for over 35 years, this is so spot on. Item or service doesn't matter, always a complaint and a go around, never happy.
The fucking On-Hold music triggered a reaction in me
They can't be offended because being offended implies they have emotions besides anger and that's weakness
As opposed to self hatred, degeneracy and overall nihilism?
@@SnaabbeamSneebers🤱
He doesn't even annoy me at this point, it's just ridiculous as hell and thus hilarious 😂seriously, I feel the phone guy feels the same, according to his voice.
The face and mannerisms at the beginning. The whole performance was completely on point 😂
Bro I’m begging you to bring back the manipulative ex husband😭🙏
(Love your videos either way tho, keep up the good work)
He went to Colombia to find a “real woman” and no one has heard from him in a couple months (no one is worried) Maybe he’ll be back soon
@@theslappablejerk Columbia... no one has heard from him...
I don't think the next video featuring him will be allowed on TH-cam
@@theslappablejerk OMG! He became a passport bro!
"How did we bamboozle you sir?"
I can tell who warren voted for
That classic hold music calmed me… for a second.
no boomer would ever go through the effort to buy a christmas tree. They are way too lazy. They'd either use the same fake tree every year or they would try to "skip christmas"
You bet this was the year Warren got his fake tree. I think that's just something all old people do after a certain age.
😾
Boomers like Warren are the reason every store plays Christmas music in December, he probably has it playing at his house's surround sound speaker system every night from 11/29-12/25 too. We all know the type.
The walkaway shuffle was perfect.
“I understand, sir” = “Oh my god please just shut up and hang up this phone call so I can go home, you miserable Scrooge. I don’t get paid enough for this”
Like talking down a tantruming toddler
I love how he sounds just like my grandpa, who is also an entitled boomer
Whenever I encounter an entitled boomer, I just imagine that George Carlin sketch in my head.
Man I wish he was still alive.
I feel like something is boiling inside me. I wouldn't survive in a customer service for an hour
Nah this guy is the best, can't even hate
You looked a lot like my dad in the first segment, lol. The light outside made it look like you had his salt-and-pepper beard. He was never entitled like any of your characters, at least not to that extent, but the little nose sniffle you do sometimes reminds me of his laugh. The coat too. He had a big coat like that one. He really liked it.
He died near two years ago. Thank you for reminding me of how he looked. The older I get the less I can remember him, and it's really scary sometimes. You help with this feeling.
Delivery guy: ,,so you say now that you see the tree, u hate it. Sorry sir, you want me drive it back and well get you a new one?,,
Boomer: ,,no, im keeping it,,
,,i just work here, sir, i dont own the farm i Wish i just wish i could help you more,,
These customer service people amaze me. Validating him would not even cross my mind, I would be all like “well duh, you wanted a cheaper tree, you got a smaller one” and “me saying ‘happy holidays’ doesn’t forbid you to speak”.
He's got a point about the Christmas tree shop saying happy holidays
ah I always love these videos. Amazing acting, very slappable!
are we going to see more of teddy, by the way? I miss that guy
Agreed, and I want to see the former nice guy who was trying to be better! Would love to see those two boys interact too.
Omg they always say shit like are you following me lol spot on lol 😂
ur so good at the walk lmfao
Once again, Warren has a legitimate complaint. Only one Christmas tree lot within 30 miles of his house? That's un-American. And this young generation wishing people Happy Holidays? He's rightfully livid. Warren should get Barbara involved ...
I swear the entitled boomer character reminds me of my miserable STEM teacher😭😭😭
I went to HEB (Texas grocery store chain) the other day and their bags at checkout say happy holidays AND merry christmas because I’m pretty sure they don’t want to deal with folks like Warren
I would dodge the issue and say "Have a wonderful day"
He's definitely that boomer that comments "TOO MANY ADS" on every free TH-cam video he watches.
Bold of you to assume Warren even knows how to use TH-cam.
I love that Atmospheres has become the official hold music of the Internet.
I just can't get away from that hold music. 7 years at a grocery store burned that music into my memory. Years later, just this morning, my manager was calling PSEG and there was that same hold music on speaker. Now I stumble across it in a TH-cam video that same afternoon. Someone please end my suffering.
Nice. The ol Christmas tree barter in Christmas story.
Encountered one of these today at work, very fun
I worked at a JCPennies by a large Florida retirement community, and this was every other customer.
The way i SHUTTERED at this video, he's so good at playing these characters man I hate it so much
Yes, this is my design by the way. Guaranteed you barely flinch when a "minority" guns down an innocent person though.
I love how he feels like he *NEEDS* to buy a christmas tree for christmas. Shows how these old people are extremely stuck in their traditions, even when it doesn't benefit them.
warren going back to a tree farm is a real blast from the past (like half a yr ago)
The speaking into the wrong end of the phone 😭
I say, give 'em hell! That tinderbox cost you an arm AND a leg!
I think I strained my eyeballs from rolling them too hard
You can smell the must and cigarettes coming through the screen
And now all those repressed memories of working retail over christmas have now been unrepressed...
"If you don't have a choice why are you bothering to complain anyway"
