Alex's Passionfruit cover is an example of when the covers are better than the originals. Drake's performance did not give me any emotion, Alex, with his warm voice, turned this piece into... a Berry White song XD... I dunno! I just love listening to it, it is so intense! I listened to this cover more than the original one !! I want the DVD of this video!

Its weird this hasnt been watched more than 79000 times... cause i think ive seen it 79000 times myself.. I think its incredible how good these guys sound in a small place... went to see them at the roundhouse in London, which is also a quite small place, compared to som places... Awesome... and the way they are playing the old songs these days... so fine! And the live versions of their new songs totally blows the album versions... dont know who produced their latest album... but he/she really should have heard the songs live first... so much better live than the album
Once i met Alex walking aroud with two plastic Bags in the backstage of the concert they made in Italy in 2014. He stopped to talk with a few fans there. I still own the shirt from that live. Its ma favourite shirt.

worth to mention, along the same lines as you, that in spite of not losing their sound or groove, they haven't become redundact or boring.
They're a great band and are still writing hit songs.
