Nice blaster. The rev switch is wired in a 'normally closed, held open' arrangement as its natural state (when nothing is touching it) is closed (revving) and when the trigger is released the switch is then held open, breaking the circuit and stopping the rev.
Actually when you are not touching the trigger at all and it's in the forward most position or released, it holds the switch closed. As soon as you pull back on the trigger a little it starts revving, there's about three quarters of an inch of Rev travel. Then it picks up the gear rack system and starts pushing the darts. I gave you that play in the rev position so that when you're doing rapid-firing you're not accidentally closing the switch. You really have to push your finger forward and let the trigger move all the way forward order for it to close the switch and stop the motors. Actually works really well I love the way it feels.
@@bannedblasters64 Electrically, 'closed' means the circuit is complete. I cannot see the switch well enough to read the nomenclature, but you would be using the common and NC (normally closed) terminals. If they need any suggestions, I would recommend having an option with a standard AR Buffer tube stock mount. Just a thought, due to the fact that it would be a good idea to have stocks, as well as having another AR-15 compatibility, like the nexus pro.
No stock connector is the only complaint I have about this blaster (aside from the $100 price sounding suspiciously low?). But because there's a removable sling mount, the shell already has a place to add your buffer tube or N-Strike stock mount if someone were to design one. I guess some people might want an extended barrel? Well the muzzle is also removable so it's just another case of designing a drop-in part
