Why DuckDuckGo is BETTER than Google

DuckDuckGo is a popular search engine, and in this video I go over the reasons why it is in fact better than Google, which is considered the "norm" when searching stuff online.
This video was not sponsored by DuckDuckGo in any way, and it is just my personal opinions on why it is better. I made this video about DDG myself because I wanted to make an interesting video, not because I am told to by them to do so.

Thanks. I know I should probably get myself a proper mic since I still don't have one and just use my phone to record both video and audio, but I think maybe I can solve it whilst editing

I currently use Google search but I want to move away from Google as much as possible (because they’re a horrible company) (I’m also trying to move away from other companies like Microsoft) and towards fully Apple (because they’re GREAT company) and Apple is making an Apple search engine soon, but until then I need a placeholder. DuckDuckGo is my main choice because 1.) it seems good, 2.) the UI is very similar to Google, and 3.) Bing is absolute trash and Yahoo is even worse. The only reason I am skeptical of DuckDuckGo is because I’m not sure if it will be as good as Google.

Yeah that's fair enough. I think if Apple makes a good search engine it will be great for user privacy. DuckDuckGo is good enough for most circumstances but for now Google definitely has more results when looking at images and links etc. and has better general knowledge.

@@TechSpecsYT Thanks. Obi-Wan Kenobi is my favorite Star Wars character. I like DuckDuckGo but I have two problems, 1.) there’s no shopping option, and 2.) the image search is wonky but besides that I like it.
