Using the pick like that is actually genius. I was trying to figure out how to better use a wide tooth comb and I think this is what I'll try next time😊
So for me, once I’ve loosed the braid and separated my hair and it’s dampened, I just use a tangle teaser paddle brush to detangle each strand section. Ever since I started that technique, takedown got rapidly faster. It means there’s no need for the last step of separating it out and using a pick as it’s already been detangled. Personally I’ve found tangle tweezers to be amazing in my hair and I have mostly 4c hair, with 4b at the very back of about the same length as yours. Also now when washing my hair, no single strand knots which I used to get in abundance 😌. I’m not very patient with these things, so that’s a suggestion for anyone else who might need to speed things up too.
Newer subscriber. I binged a few of your videos. They are very helpful! Thank you. Do you use the same wash routine on these mini twists with extensions as you did with your natural mini twists?
If you had to guess how many twists you had what number would you say? I am interested in installing these for 6-8 weeks but i am trying to determine how small i need to go. I also think I’m gonna make it super gentle and leave my edges out completely. Like leave them as mini twists with no extension. EDIT: subscribe...if you doing hair and free styling i am TUNED IN!

Love your videos, Lolade! They are very helpful as I'm learning how to do more with my mini twists. I'm planning on taking mine down this weekend!

Did you shampoo it during the month you had them? I didn’t see a maintenance video on keeping them looking nice. I’m very anxious to try this.
Hola! Tell me, did you wash while you had the extensions in? did the extensions give you any issues?
Do u think they can last for three months without trying to loc using extensions
